Pencil Thin Stools, How to resolve?
I've tried
psyllium
husk in the form of Lepicol and the American version called Metamucil and these help massively but can just stop working with no notice until i have a few days break and resume taking it. Has anybody had any success with probiotics, other products or foods that could help?

Constipation
Tried a few but there is only one which works for me, and that is
psyllium
husk. Not the powder or the pills, but the whole ones. It works like a bottle brush, cleans you out. It's gentle, and turns into jelly when interacting with liquids then leaves your body and nothing of it gets into you.

Chronic Constipation Nothing is Working
Food-based does not work; nor does fibre-based, nor seeds, nor
psyllium
Movicol/Laxido/Macrogol seems to do nothing, magnesium can make me very lightheaded; probiotics do not produce bowel movement. I AM DESPERATE! Any thoughts?

Psyllium Husks
Hi, Has anyone heard of using
psyllium
husks as a treatment aid to battling colitis flare ups? I have been suggested to give these a try by a friend and was just curious to know if anyone else has heard of this? Thanks, George

Gluten Free Bread and GF baking,
Egg whites replicate gluten really well and gums like xanthin guar gum and
psyllium
husk are all good replicators.

This is what happened in three months on a very low-carb ketogenic diet
SNACKS: Walnut, Almond, Cheese, Yoghurt In addition to the above I added following mid-way in the journey: FLAX SEEDS, CHIA SEEDS AND
PSYLLIUM
HUSK. Finally, I am thankful to all group members for continued encouragement and support.

IBS D - things I am going to try!
- I take fybogel but I am living in China and I'm about to run out so I have bought natural
psyllium
husk powder, and I am going to see if this helps as much or more than fybogel - though I have read that Recugel is better?

Senna +Triphala for heart patients
I used to take a Senna + Triphala+
psyllium
husk based laxative by Dabur ( I 'm in India) that worked wonderfully. But I'm told that Senna and Triphala interact with blood thinners and cardiac medicines. Anyone having any idea?

Bio kult & lepicol
Have found that these two things (both in tablet form) are supposed to help us sufferers of IBS. Does or has anyone tried either of these and what was the result.

I dont know where to go from here?
After about 6 months when the packet ran out I reordered but by mistake ordered the powdered
psyllium
husks. They immediately made me constipated and I quickly found I could not use them. This was last January.

Psyllium - anyone tried it?
In search of an easy fix, I looked up
Psyllium
husk. Looks promising, as it is mostly dietary fibre and it fills you up and is very low in calories. Before I spend between £5- £8 for 500 grams I wondered if anyone has tried it and if it helped or was a waste of money.

Lepicol?
Hi - has anyone tried this and if so, what were the results? I have to go to the toilet multiple times a day and have read that it regulates bowel movements and makes going to the toilet easier and smoother. But I'm nervous of trying it in case it makes me constipated (ironically even though I go to

Magnesium and psyllium
If I take the
psyllium
in the evening the magnesium doesn't work at all though - could this be because the fibre prevents its absorption? If so, would it be a good idea to take
psyllium
in the morning and magnesium at night?
