disturbing sexual intrusive thoughts
I know that sexual intrusive thoughts are actually quite common especially among people who have OCD. I have had them in the past before my thoughts and OCD started to have a bigger impact on my life, and now three weeks into being diagnosed with OCD and finding a new therapist I feel like I have made

Massage Therapy
This has been such a beautiful experience for Mom. She is so relaxed … hands, arms, shoulders, legs, and her most favorite is her scalp. In-home therapist is just what she needed.

Distraught, but Angry
Yesterday terrible, horrible neurologist appointment, to the point husband exploded 3mins 10seconds, any longer neurologist would of been dragged over table. Why; Arrogant Horrible Text Book Neurologist could not understand why my husband was not in vegetative state, blatantly stated: the past 19months

What should I look for in ADHD coaching provider?
New here, but am looking for advice---I have been searching the internet for an ADHD coach. I already see a therapist weekly for my depression and anxiety (and really my undiagnosed-until-about-a- month-ago ADHD) and plan to continue, so I am really looking more for like a life coach sort of vibe who

Rock Bottom and Lost
I'm new here so sorry if this is the wrong spot. After years of persistent effort, I was finally going to get in contact with a psychologist about receiving adhd treatment. Right then I got a text from my therapist that I've been dropped by my insurance and my last month's sessions are uncovered. As

Suggestions for improving communication in committed relationships
Having been diagnosed as an adult resulting from my children's diagnoses, I am discovering that my ADHD impacts my communication skills within my marriage. This difficulty is creating much stress in the relationship. I know that it "takes two to tango", but I want to give my best effort to do my part

I need some online guidance
Okay so I’m a 21 year old male, I’ve dealt with depression and anxiety through most of my life and it has basically ruined my adolescence. I’ve only gotten therapy recently this year and have been on antidepressants and currently on my 5th ketamine treatment. But I am just as depressed and suicidal as

Breathing Pattern Disorder and overcoming Hyperventilation. OCD & CBT
As someone who struggles with my breathing at rest for unknown reasons in the presence of mild COPD I have been on a lifelong search for help. I recently made the connection between my malady, OCD and the benefits of CBT. This is a free series of YouTube videos by a CBT Therapist and author Katie D'Ath

Response to post “Technology and Massive Stress”
Wow I guess I’m certainly not alone with this problem! Thanks everyone for all the useful tips and information. My sister who is a retired occupational therapist, always told her patients to “pace yourself”, advice probably useful in this situation when dealing with technology.
