Another Pluvicto failure
My dad was fortunate enough to get a go, but after two infusions his
PSA
did a gigantic jump from 42 to 119, over only two weeks. His doctors are puzzled, and so are we.

Waiting time for Xofigo after failed Lu177 PNT2002 ?
Meanwhile the
PSA
kept rising from 23 to 41 in 4 weeks. On, 3-21-23, I have declined the 3rd shot of Lu177 PNT2002. I kicked myself out of the trial. A new Liquid Biopsy was order to ensure and no mutation change.

Zometa Tips???
After 12 years of surgery, EBRT, ADT1 and ADT2, chemo, SBRT, and completing 6 doses of Pluvicto my
PSA
is down to 0.10. Other than dealing with persistent anemia, I'm feeling pretty good!I just learned, however, that my MO wants to start me on Zometa.

Chemo with Docetaxel - side effects
PSA
peaked 3 months after RP at 156. Was all the way down to 2.9 day of second Docetaxel infusion. 64 years old and good health except for the MPC. My question is about the Docetaxel side effects. After infusion #1, I took nausea medicine for a couple days as a precaution but never felt sick.

Back on ADT
My
PSA
peaked to 3.36 on 3/7/23 and then 4/3/23 1.65 5/1/23 .34 So hoping the trend continues downward. Not sure if a slow or quick drop is better on recurrence. My RO said, when asked, "lower is better".

Update and Question: Issues with HealthUnlocked emails going to Junk Mail
My last
PSA
in January was 0.2 (down from 34 when I started treatment last May 2022). Next
PSA
is next week so I’m getting the usual anxiety. My question: I use an iOS based phone and Microsoft Outlook on multiple devices.

Neuropathic Foot Pain
PSA
is going down and I do have mild bouts of diarrhea but that is totally manageable. My 20 year battle with this disease continues. I will never give up . I continue to have neuropathic foot pain that I believe was caused by chemotherapy.

Newly Diagnosed high risk PCa at age 52
Here's my test history: 2017 - first high
PSA
test of 2.7. DRE normal 2017 - 2019 gradually rising
PSA
up to 3.2. Annual DREs still normal 2021 -
PSA
up to 4.7, DRE normal. Opted for MRI instead of biopsy. 3T MRI found extensive evidence of prostatitis, but no indications of neoplasia.

Switching from prednisone to dexamethasone with abiraterone
I'm about to switch, not because my
PSA
is increasing, but because I'm hopeful that dexamethasone may reduce my blood pressure. Is this a sound or stupid reason to switch? Lupron plus abiraterone with prednisone have maintained my
PSA
< 0.1 (from 111 at DX) for over 4 years.

Orgovyx and stage four
My
PSA
has been at .6 after Cyberknife on my L2. I am trying to get assistance but in the meantime I started taking it every other day and Dr Oscar Goodman said that is ok. I have not taken it in 4-5 days. I have 4 pills left. Am I playing with fire?

just diagnosed with CKD stage 3.
Due to very slight rise in
PSA
they did a Pet scan which showed kidney cancer, what a shock no symptoms at all, apparently until late stages there is no symptoms. Anyway he has had Nephrectomy and awaiting scan and blood results next week to ensure no cancer cells are anywhere else in body .

Two years now on lupron
PSA
still undetectable. I feel very blessed to be feeling well. I do get some of the side effects but life is what it is so just deal with it the best you can. That’s how I feel.

PSA doubled, MO has had little input
Cut to his appointment, she never talked to him about the lesion and sadly the
psa
didn’t come in on time. Now that it IS in, his
PSA
which has been declining is now up from 1.66 to 3.44 in about 2 months.

Cabazitaxel plus carboplatin
The last treatment was in February 2023 and my most recent
PSA

PSA
fell from a high of about 60 to a low of about 8 and then began rising again. The Mayo specialists, Dr. Kwon and Dr.
