combining standard PCA care with alternative care
Dec 15 my
PSA
is 27.5 and I will take one more ORGOVYX today hoping to reduce
PSA
to 10-15. At this
PSA
level I believe the alternative treatment will kill more cancer cells than my testosterone can replace.

Whats high PSA? ( when you havent been diagnosed with prostate cancer)
Several family member went and tested themselves with
PSA
tests. My husband was 39 years old and his
PSA
test came back 1,9 and this year at 40 years his
PSA
was 1,6, free
PSA
added 0,4 ( which was good). I read somewhere that
PSA
1,5 and higher is of concern.

Is a false-positive biopsy possible?
As a result, for the last 13 years, I've had my
PSA
checked every six months. I typically run a very low
PSA
, historically .5 or .6. About 18 months ago I noticed that my
PSA
was rising, from .63, then .75, then .89, and then in September, it was .97.

PSA rise from initial Pluvicto treatment
I am curious if most of you that have been through Pluvicto experienced a
PSA
rise initially? I just finished my first injection, and did see a bit of a jump in
PSA
level. I had a similar experience in the SPLASH trial last year. After the first Lu177 injection, my
PSA
shot up quite a lot.

PSA and Eligard and bicalutamide
My
PSA
keep rising. Today,
PSA
went up to 1.1 (Today-03/13/24) from 0.37 (January). Doctor told me to take another Eljgard injection next week. This is the 2nd time. Doctor asked me to stop taking bicalutamide and dutasteride, as they appear not to be effective any longer.

Maybe because of "careful" patient selection, but still great: PSA Undetectable in First Patient Cu-67 SAR-bisPSMA
"The first patient with prostate cancer dosed with 2 cycles of 8GBq of 67Cu-SAR-bisPSMA has reached undetectable prostate specific antigen (
PSA
) levels using PET" https://www.targetedonc.com/view/

PSA analysis 6 months after radiation
At 3 months post radiation
PSA
and Testosterone were not detectable. It is my understanding that the lingering effect of Lupron on reducing
PSA
could last up to at least double the time you were on Lupron.

Rising PSA 1 year after RALP
I've been getting ultra sensitive
PSA
tests every three months. These are the last three scores: 0.015 0.017 0.026 (First
PSA
test after surgery was <0.1) I am worried. Frightened, actually. Margins were not clear on my surgical biopsy, though gleason was only 3+3.

PSA Score Doubling / Lab Error?
So, my prostate is not going to ever generate a lot of
PSA
on an absolute scale. However, a doubling of
PSA
at any level is concerning when cancer is already diagnosed in the patient.

Pluvicto Question
Also
PSA
went down just slightly after infusion number two but went up a little from
PSA
after number two and now after number three.
PSA
Jan 9 30.85 ng/mL Feb 9 27.48 ng/mL and now Feb 28 30.689 not a huge increase but shouldn't it be goining steadily down if Pluvicto is successful?

PSA showing .014 - concerned?
I had RP 3/22,
PSA
went up to .095 3 months after. I started Orgovyx on 8/15/22 had radiation Jan & Feb 23 and started Abi 4/23. All my psa's have been 0 since 10/22. Now it is at .014. I see my oncologist next Tuesday but I don't want to wait for his answer. How bad of a sign is this?
