MRI guided radiation
(View Ray)Our US Prostate leader is recommending Avodart to keep the
PSA
down for as long as possible then Casodex until something better comes available. What are your thoughts on avoiding radiation. I have no problem watching
PSA
just don’t won’t it to metastasized. Thanks Mark

PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a
PSA
rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current
PSA
level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere.

mCRPC. Total PSA is up from 1.2 to 2.1 in 2 months, but free PSA went to 14% from 5%. Can this be hyperplasia, or in ADT any PSA up is PCa?

Complementary Therapies - Your Experience?
My standard of care drugs are doing a great job of keeping my
PSA
down, but it would seem inconsiderate not to look into giving them a bit of help.

Orgovyx with BAT Questions
My T and
PSA
levels are still fantastic after 4 complete cycles. All liver and blood markers are in the normal ranges. Not one out of place. Why am I feeling sooo good now?

Post EBRT notes
PSA
is still <0.1. RO, and MO still refuse ultra sensitive!!! Had
PSA
done a month into radiation, and just now, but never raised. I thought dead PCa cells would give off
PSA
. My Lymphocytes are getting back to normal, now .69 from a low of .45 a month ago.

Mets to Bones and Lymph nodes
PSA
3.74. Doubled in since May. We meet with the oncologist next week. He is having trouble peeing and hip pain. Other than those symptoms, he feels good. Spirits are down but that's expected with the diagnosis. I am overwhelmed with information.

PSA
kept going. Started chemo 2 weeks ago. This spring and summer I've slid way back, lots of muscular atrophy and weight loss. I'm getting ahead of the pain, at least for now.

right knee replacement
Osteopenia cleared up after 21 months with only bicalutamide, T rose to 226, and
PSA
has stayed less than 0.1. I finally have a new knee! It‘s painful but every night is a bit better than the night before and I can walk our property for the first time in years.

Hi, looking for information sources if anyone knows of any
However a professor of rheumatology disagreed and I’ve since been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune conditions ( psoriasis,
PsA
, hashimotos, MMP). A couple of years ago I started getting strange blisters, dismissed by doctors as heat rash, chill blains (in summer 🙄) and so forth.

Lutetium 177 for "early" grade 4 pc or amino acid suppression ?
They suggested that maybe he would have a year with very low levels of
PSA
. 9 months down the line his
PSA
levels have gone up to 1. So further scans of various types to identify where these other affected lymph nodes are.

PSA
checked last week and the report came out yesterday with two results: < 0.006 ( by medical lab with the examination of serum) and < 0.058 ( by nulcear medical check).

clinical trails for metastatic castrate resistant pc
Can switching hormone therapy- (currently taking oorgovix and zytiga) possibly bring
PSA
down again? Any promising clinical trials we should ask about? Thoughts on provenge? Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

Long survivors with ADT + Xtandi (Enzulatamide)
5 years after RPE and RT my
PSA
is rising again. I am advised to start ADT + Xtandi. Who are longest still on this combination without getting castration resistant?

testosterone, following cancer, treatment with stable PSA
PSA
stable at .006. Low Free testosterone. My problem is fatigue and lack of strength in spite of working out. I am considering testosterone supplementation to a low level, while monitoring
PSA
. The literature supports that this is relatively safe, although to me, it seems illogical.
