Oxygen and100 yard challenge
A little history. My resting oxygen was 95, my Fev1 30%, I stayed at that level for a good couple of years. 2020 I suffered from a bad flare up and was in hospital for 16 days. I didn't really recover and despite trying to get help and failing (no surprise with the covid crisis) I became so ill I had

The ABCs of ADTs
Hi all, Here's a short video that explains the ABCs of ADT. It's easy to understand and is in laymans terms but quite informative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAVyG_r94NE

Wrong diagnosis?
Hi, Two weeks ago my GP called to do an unscheduled HRT annual review. I’m 50, not on other meds and quite fit. She said feeling sluggish was normal for folk with Hyperthyroidism, I nearly fell over in shock! Apparently I’ve had hyperthyroidism since 2014 which was diagnosed by 5 annual tests of undetected

Using transdermal E2
Ronron's posts about using E2 instead of ADT have been interesting. Who else has used? If so: 1. Has anyone switched from using Lupron (or any 1st or 2nd level ADT, such as Firmagon, abiraterone, etc.) directly to transdermal E2? 2. Has anyone who has used it eventually become castrate resistant

Do you know you can lace your shoes to help fit orthoses/ unusual foot shapes ect
If you do then ignore this but I wish I'd been told this when first given orthoses. Thanks to a high instep, many shoes already didn't fit me properly/where uncomfortable on the bones of my instep so when I was prescribed custom orthoses for collapsing arches thanks to me eds, I found the increased

hypothyroid following partial thyroidectomy. Question about HRT and optimum T4 levels.
Dear forum, I am 58. 3 months ago while having parathyroid adenoma removed, I also had partial thyroidectomy. This was because thyroid nodule was discovered during scans looking for the adenoma. The nodule was examined and contained micropapliiary carcinoma. No further treatment needed for that thankfully

Looking for recommendations for functional doctor in UK competent with adrenal fatigue, subclinical hypothyroid, HPA axis, digestion
hello, I live in France and cannot get the kind of up to date help I need here, apart from a naturopath who advises on supplements. Apart from getting my nodules scanned and biopsied my GP is not interested. I need to consult with someone remotely in English and do all the tests they need by post

Undetectable PSA
Yesterday I received my 3rd Eligard (3 month) injection. I'm also on Zytiga and finished 44 IMRT 5 weeks ago. The cancer center is attached to a large hospital and they test the blood work in house. MO says everything looked great and that my PSA is now undetectable. The lab report says <0.0 ng/ml

Gleason 6 but Metastatic
Dx in June 2022. Biopsy sampled 11 cores, with one coming back at 5% 3+3 and Gleason 6. But because PSA was 20.5, was eligible for PET PSMA scan, which showed avidity in bones, so now M1B. Have started ADT - lupron + darolutamide (arasec trial, open label). My question for the group is - what
