Considering adt vacation

I have been on zytiga/prednisone daily plus Eligard injections since June 2018. My original scan showed mets in bones and lymph nodes. A recent scan found nothing. I am considering either a Eligard vacation or a total vacation including Zytiga. My psa has been undetectable for more than 3 years. Many

Newbie needing help to understand blood results.

I had the remaining half of my thyroid removed at the end of august last year due to a non malignant tumour. (First half 10 years ago for same reason) I live in Spain and am under the care of a private endocrinologist. I was immediately started on 100mg of levothyroxine (brand Eutirox) and calcium

Does somebody know the dosage of Ivermectin to treat prostate cancer?

Dear friends! My husband Lev has extremely aggressive prostate cancer. He had radical surgery in 2007. Since that time, we have been using alternative treatment - Protocel plus a few strong anti-cancer supplements. Hormonal therapy (Lupron shots) was added in 2016. Now Lupron stopped working on my husband

Gleason 9 - spread to lymph nodes, update on treatment plan.

I read a lot on here about other experiences, so wanted to post on update on my situation. Gleason 9, low PSA, already had TURP, spread to local lymph nodes in left side of pelvis. After many opinions, have decided on a treatment plan and will be treated by a team at Memorial Sloan Kettering. The

Regional or metastatic? Proton + ADT +???

We asked about HDR early on and were told by uro and radiologist that HDR plus radiation or proton would be too much....not sure why they said this since I have read here that many men do that combo After a lot of research and talking to other men, hubby decided on the Pencil Beam Proton Therapy instead
