For those on Lupron experiencing fatigue…
I have been on intermittent Lupron for over ten years after biological reoccurrence after robotic
prostatectomy
. Fortunately it has worked well to keep my psa in check but fatigue and general loss of stamina has kept me from engaging in many physical activities I used to enjoy.

I could use some advice in Tennessee
I had pretty much decided in 2017 to immediately have the Davinci robotic assisted
prostatectomy
should Gleason score show aggressiveness. They have me schedule for surgery on 3/29. The Vanderbilt surgeon recommended Lymph Node Disection.

ART BCR Biochemical Recurrence post Radical Prostatectomy RP, Adjuvent Radiation Treatment, Benign Cells, usPSA Ultra Sensitive PSA
Some excerpts from a podcast covering many aspects of active surveillance, both post radical
prostatectomy
(RP) and adjuvant/ early salvage radiation (aRT / eSRT). There is an interesting breakdown of usPSA (ultra sensitive PSA) with predictive values for BCR.

ED after Prostatectomy
Hi Guys-I had radical
prostatectomy
back in 2014. At first the cancer did not seem aggressive but then it became so, so surgery was encouraged. I appear to be cancer free, which of course is great, but my ED has me down.

53 yrs old, 3+4 Treatment Choice
Considering my age and hopeful longevity, I’m planning for the surgery (robotic
prostatectomy
) in another 6 weeks or so. I’ve not spoken with an oncologist.

Artificial Urinary Sphincter? Finding a surgeon and understanding recovery?
I am at the point where, after my
prostatectomy
, salvage radiation and sling implant, my incontinence has gotten bad enough that I feel I need an Artificial Urinary Sphincter (AUS) I had the sling installed in January 2021. It worked for about a year and a half.

Go through with radical prostatectomy or explore Hifu?
He thinks that because I am otherwise very healthy and should live well into my 90s, my best option is robotic
prostatectomy
, which he has done about 4500 times.

Questions about hormone therapy...
I just had a radical
prostatectomy
, including the removal of nerves. Post surgery pathology downgraded the two legions to a Gleason 5 and a Gleason 7, with no indication of any cancer touching the anterior wall.

Determinants of PSA Response to Bipolar Androgen Therapy [BAT]
Responders were more likely to have had a radical
prostatectomy
as definitive therapy and were more likely to have been treated with an androgen receptor (AR) antagonist (enzalutamide or apalutamide) immediately prior to BAT (compared to abiraterone).

Had
prostatectomy
in 2019. Gleason 4+3. PSA before operation was 3.4. Remained undetectable for 4 months, then rise to 1.9 over 4 months. PSMA scan detected one lymph node in pelvis. Went for 40 rounds of radiation with lupron and Zytiga for 8 months ending August 2020.

Post-Salvage Radiation GI side effects?
By way of background, I had a robotic
prostatectomy
in 2011 and it failed. Last summer I had 35 salvage radiation sessions to the prostate bed only, ending on 27 August 2022. I was also give a concurrent six-month does of Eligard on 3 May 2022.

Further treatment - Update
I had biopsy 03.09.07 (Gleason score 3+7) and
prostatectomy
10.11.07. PSA started to rise soon after. Since then I have had radiation and been more or less on Zoladex injections the whole time. I started Xtandi in April 2019 and switched to Nubeqa December 2021.

PSMA PET-CT Ga68 Scan results
Soft tissue: Status post radical
prostatectomy
. There is a 0.9 cm focus of intense PSMA uptake in the prostate bed, adjacent to the left posteroinferior bladder wall, corresponding to an ill-defined soft tissue nodule on CT (SUV max 40.5, average Hounsfield units 50, 4:81, 3:47).
