Rise in PSA
Of course, he suggested a
prostatectomy
which I am not going to do at this point. I have no other symptoms, I train and compete in Ironman triathlons, eat a Vegan diet, and get plenty of rest/sleep. My question is, has anyone else had a similar journey and where did you end up?

AUS revision surgery?
My background: I had a
prostatectomy
in 2016 and radiation a year later because the cancerous tumor had penetrated the sack. I have since had undetected PSA but have suffered with severe stress incontinence. I had AUS surgery in 2018 but it failed because of erosion.

OH sudden increase in TSH 14 years after Radioactive iodine treatment
He had a
prostatectomy
last June and we had put the tiredness down to that. A recent blood test has put his TSH high - 6.4, before that ranged from 0.1 to 1.5 The doctor has put him on an increased dose of 125mg.

DRIPS AND DRIBBLES
Prostatectomy
in March 2020. Image guided radiation (39 treatments) one year ago. Lately, I began dribbling and dripping without warning. Where I used to be able to use one pad for three days, now I go through 3 pads per day! I gave up coffee and alcohol to see if the was the cause.

PSA Rising and MRI Negative
My husband PSA has been rising after
Prostatectomy
. A recent PET Scan showed cancer cells in the Prostate bed, but the MRI didn't pick-up any disease. The Oncologist is checking labs, and will start my husband on HT.Question for the group.

Mr Geoff Lloyd
Prostatectomy
in 2011 followed by the "all clear". PSA refused to disappear and so RT followed. PSA still present and PC nodules found in my lung in 2021.

A 4 Year Journey
I had a
Prostatectomy
in July 2020. My PSA was a 5.0 and my Gleason was 3+4. Cancer did not penetrate outer wall of gland. Decipher score was 64. Did Kegels and PT for incontinence....nothing helped and today still very much incontinent.

Abiraterone, Prednisone, Apalutamide combo Improves Prostate Cancer Outcomes, Leaves HRQoL Unaffected
Oncological outcomes improved with the addition of abiraterone acetate (Zytiga) plus prednisone (AAP) and apalutamide (Erleada) after radical
prostatectomy
and did not significantly affect health-related quality of life.

Effect of Age on Treatment Outcomes
The opposite is true for radical
prostatectomy
(RP) treatment. Namely, the older you are, the worse the outcome is after RP. https://www.redjournal.org/article/S0360-3016(23)07930-0/fulltext

What is Your Opinion on Docetaxel Added to Doublet Therapy for Early Oligorecurrent Metaststic M1a Prostate Cancer?
At one year post
prostatectomy
with Stage 3b, he rose from 0.06 to 0.273 in three mos. At psa of 0.16 , a PSMA scan showed three sub centimeter retro caval nodes lit up for metastasis. His dzx was early metastatic disease.

Is it PSA recurrence or not...
My friend had a radical
prostatectomy
a year ago. Since then his monthly PSA results were stable, at 0.006 3 months ago his PSA went from 0.006 to 0.012, then the next month to 0.029. His MO wanted to see the third month's results in order to consider salvage radiation therapy.

Age 52. T3bN2M1b with two bone mets. PSA only 5.45. Confused, scared, father of two, need some support and encouragement.
I am completely resigned to the idea of a
prostatectomy
("Just get it out!") but now that it has metastasized to a few lymph nodes and two spots on my bones, I'm devestated. The doctor says surgery MIGHT still be possible, but since it's metastasized the cancer is here to stay.
