My Last (IFN) Dose, my Fateful Decision One Year Ago
This is a long and not cheerful post, I understand if you don’t wish to wade fully or at all thru it. Sections are marked for easy reference. The thoughts are my opinions only. -- I wrote a few months ago on my botched flu vax anniversary. Today is the one year mark for my Last Dose of Besremi

Cough
So, since having a virus causing a sinus cold at the start of Easter holidays, I have had a flare up which has gradually gotten worse since. I think, symptoms-wise I might have stabilized. Anyhow, I have realized that since about halfway through April I started with a light cough and it has increased

Just an update after my bood test shower hf.I am still waiting on the echo. I was to have a chest x-ray. I mentioned back pain so I got both done. Chest x-ray was fine. The back x-ray was late!! Mmm Turns out I have a blocked artery in my left hip. Along with the heart meds, I also now am given aspirin

Has anyone experienced calcified tendinitis? I have been diagnosed with this after 6 months of excruciating shoulder pain. GP kept just prescribing painkillers then I saw the physio who advised me to have an X-ray. I am now having a steroid injection in my shoulder followed by physio, and hopefully this

Is this Scabies?
Please tell me if this looks like scabies? This is right under the armpit. I have tried to crop and focus on the problem area but can share another version of this photo if it is not clear. I am morbidly obese so a lot of skin stretching is happening.

Anyone has a drug reaction to Valtrex and Famir?
Hi, Hope these lines find you well! I am unable to tolerate Valtrex or Famir. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. I haven't tried acyclovir thinking that it would be same... I appreciate your responses, as I have frequent outbreaks. I'm trying to establish if this a drug reaction or

Cough, chest pressure, GCA
I am being treated for GCA, but had a negative biopsy. I am now taking 40 mg of prednisone and will drop to 35 mg tomorrow. My first rheumatology appointment is May 16. I am in no pain but I am very fatigued and I continue to cough, especially when I speak, and have chest heaviness. My primary care

A suggestion that is working well, for me at least. AT least for now.
I think RLS can have several triggers, as well as several things that help. Sometimes it changes and what worked often does not neccessarily work each time. It may work again, but in the meantime, you need something else. Certainly avoiding foods or substances that bother and trigger the RLS, is a

Declined lupus Centre help
Hi all, hope you're all doing as well as you can be. Just thought I'd give you an update on something that went from being so hopeful to now being left to struggle once again. If you know my previous posts just before Christmas I'd had a steroid injection and was waiting to see professor D'cruz in London
