Need to Sleep!
Doctor had me take
pramipexole
for a month for my RLS but made me dizzy and drowsy during the day. Helped the legs, but horrible side effects.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in July and prescribed
Pramipexole
3 times a day. This has helped with the tremors but I have noticed that my short term memory has got much worse than it was.

Pramipexole (Mirapex) appear to have neuroprotective and neurorestorative properties

Pramipexole detox
I was wondering if after a period of time (detox) I could go back to
Pramipexole
and enjoying a single low dosage pill per night as I used to do in the past.

I would like to introduce myself!
Hi, I am Roy and I was diagnosed with PD about 6 years ago but the symptoms had been there for at least 2 years before. My then neurologist put me on Cardiodopa 300mg. My GP thought the side effects outweighed the benefits and we tried homeopathic remedies. At the time I was being treated for high blood

I'm new here
Hello. My name is Jean. I have just returned to the U.K.from living in Cyprus for 23 years. I suffer from RLS but not continuously. My doctor prescribed Prexola 0.250mg and it works for a while but after a few weeks RLS comes back again. The tablets are pramipexol.

Have You Tried a Dopamine Agonist?
Mirapex (
pramipexole
) is another good one! Both the generics and brand names are drugs called dopamine agonists and although fantastic for a lot of people, they are not for everyone because there are side effects with every drug.

Stiff from not moving at night
He said I should increase my dose of Sinamet at night and if I wake in the middle of the night I could take one
pramipexole
. He said the inability to move at night is due to lack of dopamine during the night. Sorry I don't have anything to report about how it works.

50 Y/O with years of RLS experience
Without
Pramipexole
I would never sleep. That being said, I absolutely hate
Pramipexole
. I've been on it for about 12 years after a sleep study said I had 333 leg movements per hour. I am on 1 mg per night. Sometimes need .5 in the afternoon. Doc says not enough to cause any side effects.

back to the drawing board
I was on
pramipexole
0.088mg twice a day I am now starting on 0.26mg 3 times a day. See how it goes. Every thing wears off in the end. I was on ropinerole for three years until they wore off. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Relaxation techniques
As written in a previous post, I began
pramipexole
, but it stopped working and I got augmentation, so after reading this forum, I decided to try to avoid the dopmanine agonists.

Where O Where Is the Ropinirole?
Since the lack of supply I have tried the GP's recommended
Pramipexole
, Of no Value, Well try Pregabalin, again as much use as a Chocolate Spanner. Some distributor out there in the greater UK has a solution but my pharmacist can't find them. Probably due to Protocol/ Practice.
