Can't cope anymore
My rls seems to be getting worse, this last week I was prescribed tramadol which I had to stop, made me ill, then ropinorole, which also made me ill, so at the moment I'm only on gabapentin and
pramipexole
, which are obviously not helping.

Addiction
But found that when I was finally weened off of my
Pramipexole
prescription (for RLS) maintaining sobriety was a breeze by comparison. I still suffer from occasional RLS flair ups and use CBD oil with a fair amount of success. As well as maintaining a high ferritin level iron perscription.

What should I ask for when I see the GP about pramipexole withdrawal?
However, the pharmacist is intending to suggest starting me on gabapentin straight away while I reduce the
pramipexole
. This seems to go against the advice I have received on here today and yesterday.

Since becoming pregnant with my first child my RLS has become unbearable...so much so that I started medication with
pramipexole
straight after giving birth. I didn't breastfeed for this reason alone ..

Augmentation?
It was manageable for a number of years but finally started taking
Pramipexole
about 6 years ago. Gradually worked up to .5 mg dose per day. It always made be a bit sick to my stomach but it beat the RLS. And then it quit working. My doc said that was the maximum dose, move to ropinirole.

Lyrica plus pramipexole for RLS
The next day, I went to see my Primary doctor and told him what happened and he told me try taking only one Lyrica pill plus
pramipexole
, so I did despite that my Primary doctor knows about RLS only thru me.

one step forward, two back
For those of you who have seen my posts over the past 48 hours, you will know I was due to see my GP to get support for withdrawing from
pramipexole
, due to augmentation.

Sudden cessation of RLS/endless sleep
It happened first and most dramatically when I was withdrawing from
pramipexole
last summer. After about a month of virtually no sleep at night my body seemed to just shut down. All urge-to-move symptoms stopped and I just slept for nearly four days.

Insomnia and Relaxis pad questions?
When I was first put on
pramipexole
, it was magic, but as all of you know, it eventually stopped working so well. Doc made mistake of taking me off of it cold turkey which really made the restless leg unbearable, and now that I am off of the dopamine agonists, the symptoms have tapered down.

Rls
Hi there This my first post. My rls can be distressing I am taking max. Pramipexol but now does not seem to be effective anymore. Seems a lot worse when I am tired and want to rest and I have to get up and do something to get over it. Would magnesium or oil help? I am reluctant to go back to my doctor

I need your advice
Notes I currently need 6mg of
Pramipexole
per 24hrs in order to cope with the RLS. I am also suffering from chronic insomnia and take Trazadone 150mg to help me sleep. If I try to cut down on the
pramipexole
(even 1mg) my life turns into a complete nightmare.

Help!
Currently I'm on 88 micrograms of
Pramipexole
but its not working all the time. Instead of asking the GP to up the dosage, might I be better getting rid of this medicine and trying something different? I'm controlling the PLMD at present with 60mg of codeine phosphate at night.

Continuing nightmare after stopping Pramipexole
I stopped
Pramipexole
about 2 months ago and am still really struggling. Luckily though, I have a very well informed, sympathetic GP , who has tried me on several different combinations of drugs to replace the
Pramipexole
whilst withdrawing. We eventually found that Oxycodone was the most helpful.
