RLS getting worse naturally or augmenting... how do you know?
Up until now I’ve only taken one .125 mg
Pramipexole
2-3 hours before bed. Can I augment on the lowest dose or is my RLS getting worse on it’s own? This has been a wonder drug for me.

Am I right to be worried?
Hi all, out of shear desperation I started taking
pramipexole
again because it works for me, although it gave me panic attacks, I was desperate. So now I’m taking 1 x 0.88 every other day because I’m worried about augmentation. Do you think it’s a good idea to take them?

Pramipexole off and on
Pramipexole
works well for 3 weeks and then tapers off. What if I take it for 3 weeks and then come off it for 3 weeks. This way I would have 3 good weeks in every six, instead of 6 bad weeks. Perhaps this has been covered before but if so, I missed it.

DAs addicting?
Still struggling with withdrawal from
pramipexole
. It’s been going on for months. I went to a sleep specialist who’s only plan would include a DA. I told him I cannot take DAs since I get terrible side effects, both while on the drug and after withdrawal. He does not believe DAs are addictive.

Pramipexole ?
Ciao a tutti , After a visit with Dr.C , and following his treatment for 3 months , I've been visited also at the university of Pisa ( where I was diagnosed 6 months ago ). Even if they have seen no sign of worsening of the situation , they advise me to start Pramipexol ER at 0,56 gr/day to release

Do you have to take pramipexole every day for it to work?
Although I have a packet of
pramipexole
(sifrol) hanging around in the kitchen, I've only taken one tablet every blue moon or so, mainly to avoid the augmentation and withdrawal symptoms which seem to accompany daily use.

How I tried to keep my Dopamine agonist dose under control for >10 years
Since this community had provided me with so many invaluable knowledge and thoughts about how to live with this condition, I felt that maybe I should take the time to share my own long term experience: I have taken
Pramipexole
for about 11 years, starting at .088mg.

RLS... at an early age now that I look back at symptoms.
Of course, been on
Pramipexole
.125 and just recently moved up to .25. Still wake up during the night... been up since 3:00 am, not hurting but just wide awake. I also notice tingling and twitching in my legs although not painful. Hmmmm?

Weaning off DA side effects
Does anyone know if weaning off
pramipexole
can cause anxiety and depression? I have been off
pramipexole
for a few weeks but am still struggling with depression and anxiety. I have just started Wellbutrin but am only on 2nd day so don’t know if it will help.

Avoiding Big Pharma.
My wife has had PD for 3 years and treated only with Sifrol (
pramipexole
) and Cipramil for the nerves, we found when we increased doses the PD symptoms got worse, so we reduced to the current level which was okay til now, then the local GP suggested 'it is time to get on the ladder of progressive medications

From pramipexol to neurontin
I had my appointment with the palliative department at my hospital. It's a tiny department, with only about 12 doctors and nurses. It's geared mainly to cancer patients and whatever pain or discomfort they're suffering from. In my case it was rls, of course, which has absolutely worsened since the chemo

Thankful for this site!
I’m still good with the
Pramipexole
since my dose is still very low and it does ease the pain and do not feel that I am augmenting. Again, thanks for being a listening ear!

Opioids
I have been off
pramipexole
for close to two weeks. Then my (new) neurologist started me on carbadopa levodopa which caused extreme anxiety so only took for 4 days. I’m totally miserable. I am wondering what opioids are used and how much. I’m trying to gather information for doctors.
