Concerned Wife
The doctor prescribed him
pramipexole
at 0.5mg and told him to take one or two a day and they would work within a week. They also suggested he stopped taking the aripiprazole. It has been 4 days and it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference.

RLS out of control
I am presently taking
pramipexole
which seemed to work for about 2 weeks then has not worked at all since. I really don’t know where to turn to next. I have had this for more than twenty years but it is now so bad I can’t see a way forward.

Feeling defeated!
I am coming off
pramipexole
and easing into Gabepentin which I haven't gotten a handle on yet. I am so tired of all the symptoms at all times of the day.

Should I or Shoulder I?
At some point, with a different doctor it was changed to
Pramipexole
but it worked just as well. But just recently, with a new Primary Care doctor, he winged me off of
Pramipexole
and I am now on Gabapentin. I am in total hell.

Pramipexole and weight gain
hello I have restless legs syndrome and I take
Pramipexole
. I was wondering if this treatment causes weight gain? I’ve been eating healthy food and exercising 4 times a week and find it hard to lose weight

Blood donations and ferritin levels.
I ended up st my GP, who put me on
Pramipexole
(which I came off quickly once you guys told me!!). I'm relatively free of my RLS at the moment as I started new iron tablets that appear to be working (I need to get ferritin checked to be sure). Anyway...

Apokyn concerns
My Parkinson’s was under control with carbidopa/levodopa 50-200, and
pramipexole
1.5mg. But the anxiety and stress over my husband negated the medication. So my neurologist put me on Apokyn. I found it worked first thing in the morning but that was it.

Hell: Weaning off pramipexole
I need your help: I am on my transiation from
pramipexole
to Gabapentin. I'm now at 300mg gabapentin at 6pm and 600mg gabapentin at 10pm. My maximum dose of prami was 0.125. I am almost off it.

Restless legs
Returning here after many years, I find people trying to reduce
Pramipexole
. Why? It works wonderfully for me. Is there a problem with it?

My Opinion: Collateral Damage due to Discontinuance of Pramipexole
I was going to write about this year's months-long Hell due to discontinuance of
pramipexole
virtually cold-turkey, following more than two decades of daily use.

GABA Nutrientsupplement vs Gabapentin and other Prescription Drugs of the same order
I have had RLS for about 6 years. The first medication was Levodopa 100mg as usual. After about 2 years it didn‘t do anything for me anymore. My new medication was Pramipexol 0.088 mg, which for 6 months worked OK. Then continuesly insomnia set in and I was sleeping or better just dosing off for 1-2

Please help! Going through pramipexole augmentation trying to come off and start gabepentin. Having trouble --.Out of control
was on 3mg of
pramipexole
neurologist suggested reducing by .5 mg every 3 days and then starting gabepentin. I believe that schedule was too quick and I am not having much success by starting Gabepentin and my symptoms are all times of the day and totally out of control.

Buprenorphine Naloxone dose
I am very concerned about getting addicted to the opioid AND increasing the
pramipexole
. I see a potential one way street opening up in that direction.... and the Nausea sucks! What should I do? Should I try to persuade the Neurologist to increase the Buprenorphine dose?

Does anyone else suffer from these RLS symptoms? - Need Help, all comments appreciated
I have been prescribed
pramipexole
. Firstly, I am aware of augmentation and the cautions issued by all of you. Second, I have only taken it once and it doesn't work for me. It just caused me to twitch even more as I am about to fall sleep. Maybe that's a good thing.

pramipexole (containing Dopamine), can it contribute to heart regurgitation?
I recently had an echocardiogram after chest x-ray for breathlessness and it was thought to show an enlarged heart , but later found it wasn’t, hence the ecg. It has shown that I have some regurgitation which GP said nothing to worry about but I have read that Dopamine can be a cause of this. Can anyone

Pramipexole to Buprenorphine
Has anyone been on a low dose of
Pramipexole
and do a straight swap over to Buprenorphine? If so, how did you achieve this? Thanks
