Help
Hi all. I started Zoloft about a week and a half ago now. The first week the floaty and cloudiness of the anxiety went away (25mg) but I was having intrusive thoughts still. As soon as I upped to 50 I feel as though I am emotionally numb. I can’t laugh after I take it. I can’t love. I feel like my Intrusive

I don't want blue to be my color but it seems like it always is
One of my favorite songs is Blue Ain't Your Color by Keith Urban. I just think that's a really nice song. However for a very long time, I just feel like I'm constantly sad and depressed. I mean, I'm not trying to sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself, but things have been really rough for me for

I'm finally able to put it in words. But it still doesn't make sense.
So for like the past couple months I've been snapping left and right over tiny things, that normally I'd just shrug off. And it just came to me a few minutes ago, when I tripped over the vacuum cord and slammed my lovely shoulder into the edge of the wall. At that second I wanted to scream, and cuss,

Hi, I am new to this community as I have never really found the need to join a forum like this but I am hoping to find this beneficial in my mental health journey. I have been put on citalopram and had doses increased but I found that I ended up being really angry and snappy towards my partner which

W4R3 complete :) Bring on week 5!
Woke up this morning to Cleeve Hill being covered in fog, very Hound of the Baskervilles. Ooerrr Sherlock! Pondering this morning's run, this swiftly changed to Gorillas In The Mist :)) I will admit, I was still a big sleepyhead sloth heading out this morning, whole body felt tired and legs like lead

Anyone else had a complete meltdown few days before Transfer? 🤷🏻♀️😭🤦🏻♀️💞
Morning All, so after our MMC at 12 weeks a few months ago, we are ready for our second FET this coming Tuesday! I’m not sure whether it’s due to recent events but last night I had a complete meltdown worrying about the outcome... Has anyone else been like this or currently like this? 🤦🏻♀️❤️ I think

New shoes came with two PB’s
New shoes arrived a few days ago and decided to take them out for a short 3km run initially. Obviously the excitement of new shoes numbed any common sense to run slowly and I ended up with a 1km PB of 5:17 and a 3km PB of 17:10. Neither of them were expected! Anyone else achieved PB’s due to new shoe

Self Introduction
Hi guys. I’m new to this and don’t really know what I’m doing but I thought I’d try it out anyway. So for a while now I’ve been super down and struggling with basically everything. This has happened before but I’m not sure it’s ever been this bad. Lately I’ve been thinking about self harm and despite

Patient satisfaction with antidepressants -- old drugs come out top
https://slatestarcodex.com/2015/04/30/prescriptions-paradoxes-and-perversities/ Perhaps there are methodology flaws in looking at medication review sites in this way. Regardless, old medications Phenelzine and Tranylcypromine came out top of the list for patient satisfaction. Also the tricyclic Clomipramine

Depression update
Well the Mirtazipine didn’t work, so have come off them and have to speak to my GP next Monday to see how I have been. In fact I have been awful, can’t stop crying all day and feeling I may have come off too fast. The GP wants to put me on Citalopram, this will be the 3rd drug tried but I am extremely

Office of National Statistics finds single-unit increase in pollution exposure over long term may increase death rate by up to 6%
Long-term exposure to air pollution may increase the risk of death from Covid-19, according to a large study by the Office for National Statistics. It analysed more than 46,000 coronavirus deaths in England and showed that a small, single-unit increase in people’s exposure to small-particle pollution

I wonder what life would be like without feeling sad, depressed , or/and filled with anxiety. No heart break either. Hmmm

Most psychiatrists suck....
Most doctors, especially mental health doctors, just plain suck. I've found research they've never heard of yet takes a 10 second Google search to find. There's doctors that stick to specific medications they prescribe and will only prescribe those. Go to another shrink and he'll say yes to a and b but

Anyone existing but not living
Hi....anyone feel that they are just existing not living? I am on anti depressants due to ocd, trauma. Ptsd, depression. They are doing nothing....I feel nothing...not happy, not particularly sad, just nothing. I am in therapy also but am wondering what the use of it is....can’t change the past.
