My turn to be advised
I have a meeting tomorrow with my psychiatrist. He called me in, I guess just to see how i am doing. However, I think I'd like some advice from you guys because I think if I talk to the psychiatrist with some of the concepts in my head I'm not sure he'll understand, which in my mind would be incredible

Endometrial Ablation
Highly frustrating especially since no contras work (I've tried them ALL), just had to stop taking
Ponstan
due to severe stomach pains & bloating. So now waiting for the procedure as I'm desperate to stop my cycle (if it can be called that). Successful? Failure? Neutral? Thanx

Help with diagnosis
I was put on the pill when I was 15 but that just didn't agree with me so was put on mefanamic acid (
ponstan
) to help with the pain but ot didn't do a lot. When I was 19 I think had the mirena coil inserted and when things got worse I was was sent for a laparoscopy but this was inconclusive.

I had very painful periods, diarrhoea, nausea for at least 10-14 days of the month. diagnosed aged 22 yrs (lap). carried on with masses of drugs-tricyclic pill,
ponstan
forte (mefanemic acid) tramadol, domperidone and aspirin for a week before my period to help break down prostaglandin.

My GP advised this
I went to to see a different GP recently (lady) and she advised she had just been to a Gynae conference where a specialist speaker was recommending taking
Ponstan
a full 10 days before a period. Apparently women are not taking it correctly and this is how it has its fullest benefit.

Coil coming out tomorrow after 8 months
Think she is going to prescribe
ponstan
or something similar. I hope having it removed helps with the symptoms I'm experiencing. I'm sick of living like this.

Confused...
I went to see my family doctor yesterday and all he did was give me:
Ponstan
to try as Toradol is not working. I won't take it when I'm not on my period because they hardly work. If I take it more often it won't work at all when I need it most lol. I find some relief when sitting down.

How long should I expect to bleed after mirena coil fell out?
I'm so tired after bleeding for so long & I'm taking iron supplements and
ponstan
which is supposed to slow the bleeding. Any advice welcome, thanks.

Can anyone recommend pain relief?
I have tried a mixture of nurofen plus, paracetamol & codeine but remain in pain for 14 days of every month. ( a week before my period and during) I'm now on
ponstan
forte which I took for 2 weeks and am still in agony.

Ponstan side effects.
Has anybody been prescribed an alternative to
Ponstan
or does anybody have any ideas for stopping nausea? I have tried anti-sickness pills before but would prefer not using more pills (I'm rattling around as it is). Thank you
