Extreme Penile Pain - Suspecting Pudendal Nerve Entrapment - Seeking Advice and Hope
Hello everyone, My name is David, I'm 24 and I live in LA. About six months or so, I developed a distinct pain at the head/tip of my penis. I was sexually active at the time, so I figured I may have caught an STD or maybe just had UTI. Got tested for multiple STDs and infections by various urologists

A little side trip to the hospital
well all the swelling ended up being pericarditis, but no one seems to be able to tell me how it occurred. Anyway after a few days in there I am home and am not at the mercy of their horrid food. Yay. Can't take anti inflammatories so it is will a bit of a long journey to heal. At least I can breathe

Back in hospital trying to get proper testing...
I find myself back in th hospital after being discharged just 3 days ago. I have pulmonary edema and congestive heart failure. My PTINR are not therapuetic and they are bridging me with Lovenox. I had my first migraine since my stroke back in 2011 when I started on Warfarin. I panicked a little as it

Looking for some advice on how to live a normal life having liver cirhossis.
My husband was very recently diagnosed with liver cirhossis. He has like every symptom you could possibly have from it, nausea, ascitis, muscle wasting, insomnia, vomiting, etc. and I was just wondering how he is going to be able to function normally. He had to take the Lasix so he has to go to the

22 Days post op (Thyroid Lobectomy)
Hello my friends, I just thought I'd check in and update you on my current status. It's been just over 3 weeks since my surgery, and for the most part I am doing ok. I still seem to be experiencing some mild anxiety, especially at night, which causes insomnia. I have not had a good nights sleep in

I AM NOT SERONEGATIVE!
But she has also put me on Eliquis and
Plavix
. I had been short of breath, so I was given various scans and tests for that, but no blood clots were found. She mentioned the possibility of microclots affecting my lungs. My breathing has indeed improved since being on the anticoagulants.

I am really fed up and can't live with edema (water retention) anymore. Does anyone has any thoughts to share about this?
I was untreated for hypothyroidism for years because my results were always more or less "normal". Instead I received all sorts of treatments for diseases I never had, just wasted time, money, health. I started retaining water year after I became ill. it was in 2009 and since then IT NEVER STOPPED. I

I am on
Plavix
to keep from clotting. I am getting ready to travel by Air Plane and am a little nervous. Do you think it would be alright to add aspirin for the days I am flying?

Wondering if anyone has experience with edema (swelling, fluid retention) in the legs and belly. I've had quite a bit over the past 10-15 days and am quite discouraged. I've gained around 15-20 pounds. My GI doctor suggested a salt restricted diet and compression stockings (miserable in the southern

Too tired to think.
I have been doing so much studying about this diagnosis and dealing with the pain in my body and head. I was started on 50mg of prednisone 3 days ago and it is finally beginning to help. My biopsy for GCA is in the morning and I am somewhat apprehensive tonight. I haven't slept only an hour or two in
