Hello there! Would appreciate input..Hello there! Would appreciate input..
I'm brand new to this site. Really happy that I stumbled upon it during a search for, "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome relationship to Lupron." Not a lot of into on the subject so far. I was wondering if any of the folks on this site may have encountered this so-called rare side effect? If so, what was done

2nd Graduation
Completed third run of week 9 of couch to 5K on Friday running 3.9 miles. I’m really pleased as I had an enforced lay-off through an ankle injury requiring 12 weeks of physio. I’d graduated first time in December before suffering the ankle injury on Christmas Day. I thought I’d be out of commission

G’day to “YOU” my ms sisters and brothers. Today looks to be another scorcher, 115 Fahrenheit plus, 46 degrees celsius for we modern people. Either way, translate it to bloody hot and a day I am NOT going outside for no matter what. I guess this is what you get for living in a crowded desert city

C25K completed - second time around!
I graduated in August last year without pain or injury (apart from tripping over tree roots and skinning my knees), but had to take four months off because of back problems. After taking advice from my physio, I decided to start again from scratch in the spring. This time around I have deliberately

Cranioplasty date has been set, any advice gratefully received
So my husbands cranioplasty date has come through for the beginning of August. He is 13 months post his aneurysm surgery which resulted in a massive stroke and craniotomy. He has been home 2 months and is pretty much bedbound. He struggles with sitting balance, in fact I think he would just topple

C25k restart and question about ‘midfoot’
Hello all. I have restarted C25k after getting to week 7 in 2019 and having to stop due to achilles pain. Went to the physio but the pain didn’t go for months. This year I have been brisk walking for an hour 5 times a week since January, and have also lost 2 stone, so feel ready to try again. Am now

Moderna
I got my first Moderna shot a few weeks ago and I haven’t felt the same since. Numbness in legs and arms occasionally, constant tongue numbness and intense head pressure. I immediately didn’t feel right after the shot and ever since that day my symptoms haven’t gone away. I went to the ER a few days

I asked my physio to explain and take me through an adjunct device for AIR PHYSIOTHRAPY. She said, I've never heard of it.' Unbelievable. Has anyone had any experience with this device for Brochiectasis, Lung Fibrosis and Sarcoidosis? Does it work? Can you get the device on the NHS?

Has anyone tried any private pain clinics?
I have seen a few private pain clinics offering online appointments such as london pain clinic,
physiotherapy
clinics and the online pain clinic that I have seen good reviews for (leva). I was thinking of trying leva clinic as it has a free first appointment. Has anyone tried any?

PMR Stay

Physiotherapy
treatment etc was over a period of two weeks and for that period I took NO Steriods. As I write this my neck issue - always up to now being on the right side has now spread to my left side. This seems to indicate that PMR is still with me.

Torn rotator cuff
I fell on the ice in December. It tore my rotator cuff. Been going to physical therapy and had 2 cortisone injections. First shot helped some second did nothing. I still have terribile pain in my shoulder. The weather effects it a lot. I know when it’s going to rain. I am afraid it’s not healing. I

Bladder and Urinary incontinence
Hi everyone So embarrassing but I’m noticing increasingly a weakening bladder and pelvic floor. I’ve noticed it much more since my laparoscopy in March and not sure if it’s connected but most days I’m having a leak or nearly and I’m only 26 and no children and it’s just horrid. Sometimes its visible

Appt Hell Week
Tomorrow begins my appointment hell week. I'm only half joking when I say "In 2018 I lost my a career as a professional photographer for a career as a professional patient." The pay is lousey but the Healthcare benafit is pretty good. However, since February, that pro patient thing

My 72 yr old mom was diagnosed with NASH in April 2021
Hi there! I am new here and need some help. My mom was diagnosed with NASH in April. She is not overweight but actually under weight. She has had several liters of fluid drained from her stomach on several occasions so far. She is very fatigued, and because of that has lost a lot of mobility. Currently

Update to Q of what GCA headaches are like - bad reaction to covid vaccine
So after many, many ER visits and Drs my possible GCA is TMJ/TMD and inflammatory back pain. I tested negative for the HLA-B27 gene. I just saw a post on a covid long hauler site that is saying they had this inflammatory response to the covid vax and luckily for them their doctor agreed bc he has seen
