Nuclear Stress Test in Chair was so easy.
Had the Nuclear Stress test in the apparatus similar to a dentist chair. It was a Lexi Scan with injection but did not have to lay flat and was less than half the time of the round donut looking machine. My cardiologist did not have the newer technology he wrote me a referral to go to a cardiologist

Depression and successful treatment
I'd like to share something that others may be able to relate to. After suffering for many years with different ailments in addition to, or probably related to PA, one thing that many may suffer from is depression. I was given all the usual psychotropic medications with little positive effect. Then

Going off Lexapro
I am switching from Lexapro to Prozac. I feel awful! It feels like extreme anxiety and agitation. Is there anyone who can validate that this might be discontinuation syndrome. I feel like I’m going insane. Thank you

Hi glad I found this group. I have had depression and anxiety for a long time 2000. Dx Generalized Anxiety Disorder Effexor worked after going through a few meds as my stress level climbed my doctor at the time gave me Ativan .5 as needed added to Effexor it worked. (That was in 2000) fast forward

Really don't know what to do
Maybe staying home while mom and sis are at job and school while I'm having one month of classes, would stir up some pressure. Thinking about going home to think after my course this weekend. I think I can't make a decision while paniced and having two days. Thought about misssing one rent by leaving

I need some reassurance
I need help. I couldn't find a place. The terrible person who offers places under rent, made me walk through the entire city with my agoraphobia and in the heat and when I haven't eaten anything. Wondering whether to give up on searching and whether to go see mom and sis for a while or i would relapse

Thank you everyone!
I just wanted to thank everyone again for being so kind and understanding and helping me through my meltdown I posted about a few days ago. I'm feeling I bit more hopeful now. Still got the "what ifs" I worry about still but I'm ok today.Thank you! Also a quick question if anybody is willing to share

Agoraphobia trigger. My appointment is now in the rear view mirror
First of all,
thank you all
so much
for your help! This community has been so helpful and you all make up the fabric of it. I did take about 3 days to myself after the dreaded appointment. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. I stayed in my bedroom and was a bit down

sudden hyper symptoms
I take 75mcg levo and 3mcg cytomel. The last few days I am suddenly feeling hyper instead of hypo. I feel very anxious, wired, faster heartbeat, my period is shorter, trouble sleeping, very warm and a tight throat. I have scheduled a blood draw in 4 days. I want to lower my meds today because I feel

Sertraline after 6 months - started smoking and drinking more
I was put on Sertraline 50mg after a breakdown in February so have been on it for over 6 months. I was off work for 6 weeks and whilst some things have improved such as my OCD and eczema, I am not myself. I’m still feeling down and the smallest things can trigger a bit of anxiety. I am sleeping a lot

Hello 👋
Hi, we are all happy to have you in the group and share your insight. There is a very strong genetic component to this. My mom, brother and I all have anxiety and depression. I have been diagnosed with bipolar 2. I've tried ketamine tablets and found it effective but had to stop because it's costly.

Hi all, I have found that I’m having tremendous trouble managing my life and I dwell on past mistakes and freeze up in trying to fix mistakes of today. I’m just a ball of anxiety and my mental and emotional functioning is going down. I can’t seem to manage my life at all. I’m on so many meds that

Increase to 100mg Zoloft
Currently on 75mg Zoloft/Sertraline. Increased to 100mg tonight per my doctor’s advice. I’m so nervous. When I first started Zoloft at 25mg I was okay, but then had breakthrough anxiety due to adjusting to the new medicine. I hope going from 75mg to 100mg isn’t a drastic change and makes me have anxiety

SOS. Help asap. Continious mental breakdowns since my birthday yesterday
So yesterday i made 23. I was kinda happy and excited but it was ruined. I was outside the night before, my neighbours' kid was so happy about me, she went and said "mommy, daddy, kaka(Bulgarian word for older girl/big sis) gets 23". The parents just said "damn" and "you're only getting older" and "nothing
