Week 2/Run 3 - The First Bad One.
Hi all, just hoping for a bit of a vent and hopefully a
pep
talk here. I just finished my last run of week 2 - a really bad one. I had to stop twice with really bad stitches and breathlessness and struggled to make it to the end of the 90 seconds on each run.

Gone as far as having to see a 'shrink'
I just curse myself for not taking it on myself sooner and perhaps got a
pep
talk/confidence boost off someone and told to separate what had gone before. I don't know who could've done that and I didn't approach my family before I went to see her because she said don't tell anyone.

I don't have access to Laura. Can anyone give me any of her inspirational pep talks?
Hello. I have just completed w4r2. I never thought I would be able to get past w1 but I keep plodding on! I am using the RunDouble app on my phone as I wasn't able to download the podcasts. I feel like I am missing out on some inspirational messages from 'Laura'. Can anyone give me a few pointers ie

W9/R2 phone app vs iPod app
down and complete, having read so many of your blogs about how Laura's words of wisdom have helped you complete the more difficalt runs I decided I had to find out what I was missing, so this morning I pinched my sons iPod for the day downloaded the week 9 podcast and set off, what a difference, the

Being a parent with pain
I don't believe for one minute that my
pep
talk earlier has led to this rush of cooperation from the older one, I know for a fact she is after something!

PUPPP / PEP / itchy rash
Anyway, I am 38+1 and having an elective section (due to a naughty breech baby ;)) in 8 days AND COUNTING and I am thankful for that and also that this appears to be a mild case of PUPPP, now apparently called
PEP
, although from my research online I read that it could get worse and worse.

Week 3 - Owzat!
I posted last week looking for a bit of a
pep
-talk following my first really bad run. I'd felt deflated having found it much harder than normal and was just generally a bit down about it all.

W9R2 - Park Run!
Shortly before 9am we were called together for the
pep
-talk, announcements, legal notices etc etc and then a short walk up to the start and 3 - 2 - 1 - off! The first loop of the course was easy - all on the one level on a gravel path around the lawn.

W5 R3 - I did it!
I've been trying to
pep
talk myself all day and remember all the encouragement and advice on here. I decided to only switch my RunKeeper app on once I started running as I wanted to see how far I could go without including the warm up.

Week 8: Run 1...Rebooted
After some extra stretching, lots of water, my usual 10min warm up walk and a good old fashioned
pep
talk (out loud to myself not looking like a crazy person or anything :/) I completed the first run of week 8 :) all 28mins and no shin pain :).

First Rituximab..
Given that it was my first infusion of any kind I expected that she would give me a
pep
talk about things to watch out for and let her know if I was experiencing any issues..nada.

Ready for Week 7
However after she gives you a
pep
talk at 20 minutes I felt really good and still felt I had a bit left in the tank and started to open out my pace a bit.

Stamina: The 25 minute wall
Went through that whole cross with myself mood went full circle and finished up with a "The only bad run is no run"
pep
talk, read a few uplifting blogs on here which really helped too - I've said it before but YOU c25k-ers are a great lot.

W5R1 - Switch on ?
I think Laura even mentions it in one of her
pep
talks. On that subject she's beginning to really annoy me. "I hope you feel you're recovering more quickly" and if the answer's "no" then what ? As it happened she was right, I do recover more quickly.
