Update on my last post
So in my last post, if you read it, I talked about how my anxiety is as at its peak because of a possible forced participation crisis at a
pep
rally. I’ve been trying hard to think about what I could do to make sure I wasn’t put in this situation, and I finally found one.

I give very good advice but very seldomly follow it
Why am I quick to help someone else with their depression or anxieties and give
pep
talks to others; but I won't give myself a chance, I feel like I don't deserve a
pep
talk or help. And any advice I give to people I never think about when I need it. It makes no sense.

What are your feelings on forced participation?
So I’m still in high school which means we have
pep
rally’s. I usually skipped these because 1. I could care less what some egotistical jocks had to say and 2. They were just boring. But there was also another reason. When the athletes play the game, they call names of students to come join in.

Week 5 run 3
Well, folks, it was tough and I needed to
pep
talk myself through it but just managed to get through 20 minutes of running with no walking breaks! Was a snail but managed to keep going! :D

Week 6... done!
Giving myself a bit of a
pep
talk, I carried on and it got easier. I would even go as far as to say, I probably could have carried on past the 25 (I didn't mind). Today, I think I've realised that it's more mind over matter.

HM training week6 day5
They certainly have a lot of
pep
. It’s easier to spring forward with them. I’m experimenting with the lacing to get them tight enough without causing pain.

Neb + PEP therapy with Pari LC Sprint
I could get a Pari
PEP
S mouthpiece attachment but I don’t have the money atm to spend on something which will only kinda help and wouldn’t stop me having to use my Acapella as well. Any ideas?

Thetford Parkrun - I cried
After the newbie
pep
talk, we prepared to go. One of the senior members of our club had volunteered to babysit us on our first run. Such a sweetheart. We set off. The Toxic Ten turned out to be the Deadly Decade, as the hangover made itself felt. S#*%!

Second 10k done and a fuel question
I don’t feel I need fuel as such, but as these are caffeine (the equivalent of half a cup of coffee) they are good for a
pep
up, and for me they really help ditch the heavy legs I feel after 45mins to an hour of running.

Week 7 struggle
If you’re on week 7 like me just remember to give yourself a
pep
talk at the half way mark and remind yourself that you’ve come a long ways since week 1!

Week 6 done!
With each step I gave myself a
pep
talk and pushed through. Feels good to sweat and know I’m taking care of my body! Both my knees have torn miniscus. And I’m waiting for insurance to approve a double knee surgery in July. But yet, I’m continuing on this weight loss plan through the couch 2 5k.

W9R3 - not a Parkrun but a parks run 🙂
Ah that's better 🤗 Set off up the hill Laura doing her pre run
pep
talk. I'll miss her. Noted the cow parsley was not fragrant this evening, but less flies yay 👐👐 Across the road into green space no1. Through the field and into the wood.

Flu and Flare-up
In the previous weeks I had been using a Positive Expiratory Pressure (
PEP
) device called an 'Acapella' to help clear the phlegm. It worked after a fashion but not very deeply. While in hospital I was seen by a Physiotherapist who wanted to try another
PEP
device.

Pep Talk Board
I put it there as a
pep
talk when I open my eyes, get ready for the day, come home for the day and go to sleep at night. I started with the Serenity Prayer and went from there. I thought it would be good for us all to make our
pep
talk quotes/sayings that have helped us.
