Oranges are not the only fruit
We've just had the pre-chemo
pep
talk and have been told my husband can't eat oranges during chemo as they interfere with the drugs - make them too active apparently.

Emotional
Time to give myself a BIG
pep
talk in my head. Kept going until the end. To steps after the end and I nearly puked twice. I then looked at my garmin (second hand from eBay, another sound investment) and I'd actually run 1/2 a mile in the last 5 minutes. So a ten minute mile.

Blowing thing
A weeks ago a physiotherapist gave me something called a Pari O-
Pep
, well I think that's what it's called. She said that if I used it properly I wouldn't get chest infections. I blow into it three times a day and it makes me cough..

HIV Anxiety
I then start to worry whether I should ask for
PEP
, knowing I won't receive it. I try to tell myself that this must mean I don't have HIV, because otherwise they would give me
PEP
.

Best advice I can offer: Run to your own music (sorry Laura) Weight loss: Nada Thanks go to … all the lovely people I’ve chatted to, shared their trials and triumphs and who have given me endless support and encouragement (as well as the odd
pep
talk and gentle boot up the backside), praised my achievements

Im new to this...
Like I could cry at the drop of a teaspoon and I cannot
pep
myself up. As someone who is usually so good at snapping myself out of bad moods I find this incredibly frustrating. Does this make sense? Just looking for some advice really because I hate feeling like I cant control my own head.

If I am talking one on one with someone, I need a crutch like a phone or something i can "check" when I'm trying to figure out what to say next or give myself a
pep
talk. I can't small talk unless who ever I am with starts the conversation first.

Hi
This beast causes so many repercussions.I continually give myself
pep

Panic attack
I took slow breaths and started to
pep
talk myself mentally. Has anyone ever tried this? It worked a little. Any suggestions or other methods?

So I am now in W2, with CT2 imminent and after a
pep
talk from a friend that's just run her first 5k non-stop (Go Kate Go!) she's convincing me to head back outdoors ... but the CT seems to be calling so strong.

If you think you are running too slow
I read this article on a running forum & thought it a useful
pep
talk for those of us who get daunted when we feel our pace is too slow http://www.shape.com/fitness/cardio/open-letter-runners-who-think-theyre-too-slow
