Treating muscle pain post zoledronic acid infusion
I was recommended to take some
paracetamol
before bed, which I did. I had some migraine associated visual disturbances just before I turned my light out, but slept through OK. This morning I developed a headache, so took more
paracetamol
, which did the trick.

A series of flares
It was on the right hand side, and strangely I realised that it worsened each time I blinked my right eye,
paracetamol
didn't touch it. I increased my pred. to 3mg going to bed and 4mg in the morning.

Caffeine
On Thursday, I felt shattered and unwell - as if I had a cold coming - so I just rested, took
paracetamol
and felt better on Friday so went out and about again for a walk and to the cafe for a coffee (did that Friday and Saturday).

Flare treatment
At week 3 of tapering down to 6mg, I had nasty pain in the shoulders, neck and head which did not respond to
paracetamol
. It only lasted a few days so just assumed it was a steroid withdrawl reaction.

Hip operation and PMR
Hopefully I won't have to wait too long after this for the operation as I am in quite a lot of pain and only taking Cocodamol and
paracetamol
. I am 84 years old. Any advice re steroids before my op would be greatly appreciated.

is Aspirin safe to use with liver disease
Hi Guys Not posted for a while I was just wondering if it safe to Aspirin my husband as NAFLD and is suffering with constant headaches he’s been prescribed
paracetamol
but they don’t seem to be helping so the GP gave him codeine which just made him sick.

Kinds of pain
I assume the muscle pains are the result of pmr weakness, but not actually pmr, so maybe the answer is rest,
paracetamol
and voltarol. I also guess I'm someone for whom pred only works partially. I have a demanding trip coming up in August, and had thought of using the warm (ha!)

Tooth infection - increase prednisolone?
I'll take
paracetamol
if needed. Question: Should I increase my prednisolone up from 5mg daily for the course of the antibiotics or longer? If so, to what level do you suggest?

Out of stock Advanz/Mercury Pharma Liothyronine
This medication isn't a brand of
paracetamol
that you take now and then, it's vital and permanent. Anyway, let's see what he says.

cuban dilemna
i have a great affinity with cuba, having married one, bought a house there, although i live in the uk, and try and get there twice a year. due to the ongoing shortages of day to day medicines,
paracetamol
etc, i always take a case full of any over the counter medicines and basic health and hygiene supplies

hip stiffness
Paracetamol
has reduced the aches but not the stiffness so I’m not sure if it’s steroid withdrawal or a mild flair or just over exertion. Finding it difficult to get in and out of the car and walk up stairs.

Back Pain
At the moment I’m on dihydrocodiene and
paracetamol
which I know is strong but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work. I find I can’t stand up for more than ten minutes without sitting down.

DVT Pain Relief
I’m on a full dose of
paracetamol
and elevating my leg when I can. When I thought I had tendonitis I took a lot of anti-inflammatories which I presume haven’t helped the situation. Do I just need to be patient? I’m now on apixaban and waiting to speak to the anti-coagulant team at the hospital.

Last race of the season and a PB 😎
I took two
paracetamol
and a 400mg ibuprofen and headed off on the tube to Stratford. I cut my warmup short and felt zero pain so it was an easy decision to take off the strapping and ankle support and put the spikes on.
