Myelofibrosis - pain in quad muscles
Hi All, I have previously posted the group about this (and drew a negative response), but am interested to ascertain whether any newcomers with Jak 2 myelofibrosis are experiencing
pain
in their quads (thigh muscles) when walking or running.

bleeding coming of prostap
can anyone help…. so I stopped taking prostap in October (last injection end of October) and had no period yet but I did have some signs of ovulation! 2 weeks ago I got a positive pregnancy test but since then have done several tests and they have all been negative so I am assuming it’s a false positive

Is this called the ligament
pain
? Does it last an entire day? How frequently does it happen? Anything I should be concerned about? Thank you.

Worsening back pain after treatment?
Strangely, during my radiation treatment, despite having bouts of “back”
pain
leading up to it, I experienced
no
back
pain
during treatment, until the final week.

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone injections for pelvic pain
I have to make the decision whether to try these injections to start menopause to see if my pelvic
pain
is hormonal. I had a Laparoscopy which found my pelvic vessels are conjested but my gynaecologist won't recognise that as the cause of the
pain
.

Norethisterone Tablets, pain
I’ve been prescribed Norethisterone to control heavy periods but since being on them my lower abdomen feels heavy like there’s pressure. Has anyone else experienced this?

Request for patients with experience of chronic pain to take part in research project – University of Strathclyde
These GP pharmacists can give care and support for patients who have had chronic
pain
. As well as talking to patients about their
pain
, these pharmacists could ask patients to fill in questionnaires about their chronic
pain
, and the impact that the
pain
has on their lives.

should pred last 24 hours?
Day one I was only in a little
pain
in the evening and on Day two virtually no
pain
. Day 3 did not seem to work so well and I had
pain
in my legs all day and got progressively worse as the day wore on. Just had a very uncomfortable night and
pain
in legs really bad this morning.

The age thing...
When I was going through a divorce at age 27, in an extreme amount of stress, I developed
pain
in neck, lower back and both hips. Over the years knee & shoulder
pain
followed.

Bone pain, what next?
However I am now experiencing periodic bone
pain
in the left hip area, mainly when I climb stairs. Tolerable but a worrying development. Even with lack of visible progression I think we need to change something, especially given rising PSA and now apparent bone
pain
.

Radiculopathy
As a complication to PMR I have now lumbar radiculopathy with
pain
and numbness in my legs. Still on cortisone after 6 years now 6.25 mg. But my slow tapering doesn’t seem to affect my lumbar
pain
and stiffness. Does anyone else here suffer from this condition??

Essential Thrombocythemia
The
pain
has decreased to a point where I can function again, but there is still low level
pain
in those areas. Hopefully I can find a treatment that will make me
pain
free. Thanks for listening.
