Lung Cancer Treatment
I will be having
paclitaxel
, carboplatin, every 3 weeks for 4 rounds & pembrolizumab at the same time, then every 6 weeks for 2 years. Just wondered if anyone has had similar and how they got on? In August the hospital changed my inhalers to Anoro + Easyhaler.

Abraxane
Abraxane is usually given to Breast Cancer/Pancreatic Cancer patients that are allergic to
Paclitaxel
and not available for us on the NHS at the moment, my oncologist was lucky to get the funding through the Cancer Care Fund for me as it’s simply my last option as I’m now allergic to all the other chemo

Progression and Niraparib
Am now back on
Paclitaxel
and carboplatin and just had my first round. Due to have two more, then a scan, then possibly three more. Can I ask. Has anyone had the Niraparib stopped, had more chemo then gone back on Niraparib (assuming the chemo works.)

emotions during chemo
hi all, I am on the
paclitaxel
Carboplatin regimen for stage 2A clear cell ovarian, after optimal surgery. I am physically tolerating the chemo well after 2 sessions, though I feel so irritable, angry, intolerant especially during the few days after the chemo.

Paclitaxel not working
I started on weekly
Paclitaxel
in January (second line treatment recurrence) and after my last CT scan I was informed that the cancer is progressing. My CA125 started to go down at first but soon started going up again and is now 186. I am classed as platinum resistant.

3C Chemo Combo
She’s having a combination of Carboplatin,
Paclitaxel
and Avastin as they have assessed that she’s relatively fit. I was wondering if anyone’s had this combination? From what I’ve read it looks intense with quite brutal side effects.

Where do I go from here?
No option of surgery because of spread. 6 rounds of
Paclitaxel
/Carboplatin. Reduction in tumour. Straight on to Avastin plus Olaparib (HRD negative). No more cancer in lymph nodes but slight progression in main abdominal tumour. 5 rounds of Carboplatin before progression. 2 rounds of Caelyx.

Confused clear cell concerns
So went for chemo no.4 today, as no. 3 had made me ill with terrible side effects they decided to stop the
paclitaxel
and just do the carboplatin. White blood cells were low but still ok to go for the carboplatin. My CA125 is now down to 10.

Stage 4 nsclc advanced to adrenal gland
Hi, I'm recently diagnosed with the above, awaiting treatment plan (which will probably involve carboplatin,
paclitaxel
and pembrolizumab. I'm not yet 40, never smoked. I've been feeling exhausted on some days, some dizziness even.

Reaction to Taxol (Paclitaxel) and alternatives?
I had my first chemo last week and reacted to the taxol (
paclitaxel
) so could only receive bev and carboplatin. I will be switched to taxotere for my next treatment. Wondering if anyone else has had a reaction to taxol and then received taxotere.

Decision time!
After finding out I had progression to my liver in July and acute side effects to Everolimus after only 6 weeks, I have been advised there is further progression to my liver. So I now face the dilemma of no treatment and at best 6 months, or choice of chemo. My oncologist has given me 3 options, oral

Recurrence with shockingly high CA-125
I did well with the carboplatin and
paclitaxel
. At the time that I was diagnosed, I went to the hospital because I was getting sicker and sicker.

Niraparib side effects
hi everyone, I’ve got grade 3 high grade serous ovarian cancer, I finished 6 rounds of
Paclitaxel
and carboplatin in Desember. I’ve just started 200mg Niraparib three weeks ago but seem to have developed swollen legs, has anyone had any experience of this?
