Kardia readings with a pacemaker
Am concerned tho that I shouldn’t be using the kardia(As kardia says they don’t recommend it’s use when you have a
pacemaker
) Are there any opinions on here? Do other people with pacemakers use kardia? thank you

DOACs
Cardiologist and EP now agreed I need a two lead
pacemaker
. I have been on warfarin all this time. EP wants me to change now to a DOAC. He says they are safer and all new AF patients are put on them rather than warfarin. I am unsure what to do.

Dilated cardiomyopathy
Unfortunately last month I went into another severe ventricular tachycardia storm where I had to be put to sleep for 4 days, I've got a
pacemaker
and a defibrillator however I have been informed that I would be put on the heart transplant list.

Pacemaker
Very recently have experienced swelling of my left hand and arm, following CT scan shows a problem with a stricture, probably caused by the vein where the
pacemaker
wire has been fitted, mid 2021. Anyone else had problems with the
pacemaker
wire please? Dave J

In the space of not even 12 months, I've gone from needing a
pacemaker
, to not, then to possibly needing one.

MRI scan with compatible pacemaker, CRT-D or ICD
I have a CRT-D device implanted which is MRI compatible. It looks like I might now need an MRI scan of my head - most likely under private health care. Does anyone know what extra arrangements, if any, are needed to have an MRI scan with an implanted heart device (one that is compatible with MRI scanners

a quick hello
Oh, FYI Those of you who know me know about the miracle of my
pacemaker
that did not exist until recently, which would have meant all I had to look forward to was heart failure even more than now. The only other stuff is transplant something they probably wouldn’t care of me at my age.

Question for anyone who has had OHS please
I have had a
pacemaker
inserted 2 years ago. I want to know from anyone who’s had this surgery if their breasts were soooo sore. I do have big boobs so not sure if this is why. Yesterday I have a cardioversion which was successful. I feel like I have gone back to day one with the pain.

Beta Blocker affects on Stomach
I had major surgery to replace my Aortic valve in 2016 and due to a hiccup and ended up having a
pacemaker
fitted as well. Been on Warfarin and Candesartan for most of the time and no issues, still running etc.

Apixaban
His GP is puzzled and concerned and thinks it may apixaban but he still has to wait while she contacts the
pacemaker
team for advice. Can this be a side effect of his tablets?

Cardioversion
I have a
pacemaker
. When I read other posts in this forum, most people seem to have a much faster heart rate than I do - over 100. My normal sinus rhythm is about 52 resting. I feel breathless and fatigued but carry on with my normal activities.

AV node ablation
My
pacemaker
has to be tweaked over the next six weeks and I will have to build up my strength and stamina but I feel much more positive now that I will be able to do that. If anyone is in doubt about having this procedure as I was I would say go ahead! I feel as though I have a future now.

checkup I was told I have an increasing AV heart block which my
Pacemaker
is dealing with. Any comments from anyone with a similar experience would be helpful.
