Arteries or electrics of my heart? Which one is causing me problems or are they both? Or is it gastric?
Had ablation 2019, stent 2019, coronary spasm 2020,
pacemaker
for complete heart block 2022. Plus prostate cancer 2021 and bleed on brain as the result of collapsing due to blood thinners. Before Christmas was doing hour and half in gym, felt fine.

advice pacemaker
hi all been away for a while as uncle has been doing very well. This week is 6 months since the surgery and he has surprisingly got through it. I need some advice on pacemakers, how is based on left shoulder, he keeps getting on and off sharp shocks or pain from it. No chest pain no other symptoms.

CRT-P operation not successful
My partner was diagnosed year ago with heart failure and LBBB he has been doing well on his meds and yesterday was in hospital for a
pacemaker
implant. When he phoned me after it the last thing l expected him to say was it had been unsuccessful. Apparently they could not get the third lead in.

Could my symptoms be caused by angina ?
Brief cardiac history , I have had a
pacemaker
since 2020, I had pericarditis and an effusion due to post procedure complications , thankfully now recovered fully from that after many months .

Never near fainted before so wondering if I need a
pacemaker
. I do have the slow ..fast syndrome and sick sinus node. Want to be smart as to what to do but don't want to do something I don't have to. Maybe should be smart as "preventive". Bothers me more is not known.

Advice after a pacemaker
I had a
pacemaker
fitted one week ago, and had a bad experience. I had Pneumothorax (air in the chest cavity, painful) and was kept in overnight. A week on, and I'm not feeling so good. All sorts of little pains, and feeling sore.

AV node ablation on Friday...getting a touch nervous!!
Question : is the
Pacemaker
switched on before the node is ablated? I currently have it just switching on when my heart beat goes below 40. Anyone who has had this second part of the pace and ablate.. I would love to hear from you.

Toprol XL to be taken 2x daily?
yearly,,,the nurse practioner just switched me to Toprol XL 25 mg 2x daily but the paperwork with the drug says it is to be taken once daily due to its coverage being about 16 hours,,,I see an overlap here where the side effects might really be an issue,,,I already had bradycardia and had to get a

Angiogram and Right Cath.
On meeting with the Surgeon the discussion came around to my pulmonary hypertension and he said if that was ok, as I have no other health issues I should be able to have open heart, as I’m not keep on the clip, I already have a
pacemaker
and with open heart they can move my leads from going through

Three shocks in last twelve months and not been to hospital, anyone else had a similar experience?
I've had two ablations, both unsuccessful, but on the second one my AV node was accidentally ablated so I became
pacemaker
dependant. My previous hospital, I moved out of the area, were quite good and the protocol was to go in via 999 and ambulance after a shock.

Phrenic Nerve damage on top of everything else.
I could pay $30k - $65k to have a
pacemaker
fitted on my diaphragm. (!!!) (They did the damage, shouldn't they pay for it??!) You might think this isn't a hard decision but: I had severe blood clots (saddle PE) after my CABGX3 which nearly ended it all.

Urinary Retention after Radiation
I thought that I might get used to it, but it does cause quite a bit of pain and discomfort, so I don't think this is a sustainable solution. 2) A permanent catheter. 3) "Sacral Neuromodulation" procedure, which is a device implanted that acts like a '
pacemaker
' for the bladder.

Bi Ventricular pacemaker and ICD, please share your experiences
I have been offered a bi ventricular
pacemaker
and ICD as a result of my history of ischemic heart disease, various conduction issues, 30% ejection fraction, slow pulse rate. It is hoped getting both ventricles to beat together will improve pumping function and my general wellbeing.

I thought I would share
He told me just a couple of years ago what they had for a
pacemaker
would not work for me, and I would continue in heart failure, which usually ends up meaning a transplant. If a person is lucky. They are working every day to find new ways to give us quality of life. 😊
