Does a pacemaker stop afib episodes?
EP had already informed my daughter via telephone that
pacemaker
is the next option to deal with my afib. Have consult with the EP next week to discuss
pacemaker
issue. My question is: Will a
pacemaker
stop AFib episodes?

Back Pain
It really is causing me a lot of problems I also have a CRTP
pacemaker
which as made a big difference to my heart failure. I am a seventy four year old female, and I was hoping for a few more active years.

Can you spare 10 minutes of your time?
An ICD is like having your own defibrillator inside your body so if your heart should go into a specific arrhythmia the ICD will shock it back into rhythm; whereas a
pacemaker
monitors and adjusts the rhythm and speed of your heart; if it is too fast or too slow it will adjust accordingly.

Can heart problems be hereditary ?
I had a dream a few nights ago that one of our daughters had to go to hospital with cardiac symptoms , a few hours later I ended up in hospital too with the sane , in the dream I had a
pacemaker
as I do in real life and my daughter was asked if there was a family history of heart problems .

My Kardia says it is 140 BPM but I believe the Kardia is unreliable if you have a
pacemaker
. Trying to count by using my finger on the side of my neck is difficult because of the crazy rhythm. Any one got any ideas. 140 BPM is fast for me. Sorry for rant.

3% Afib burden and proposed medication
He advised that, unless I had a
pacemaker
implanted, medicinal control of my afib was too dangerous because of my already low heart rate.

Hi, had a dual chamber

fitted back in July 2022 following AV node ablation. Now have HF, told by HF nurse possible cause may be due to the pacing of the R/H chambers causing strain to the L/H as it needs work harder Had symptoms of HF since being paced, HF just confirmed in the last week through

Heart block
He said I may have to have a
pacemaker
. Is it just time to give up? I’m in constant pain from the fractures and the pain dr says there is nothing more he can do for me. I had one kyphoplasy, been on every opioid, morphine and fentanyl no relief. How much more can a body and person endure?

Heart scare
I had a my second
pacemaker
fitted a year ago. I'm feeling tired most days and I'm getting pressure down my arms and burning in my chest on exertion. I had a heart scan with contrast that came back normal. No blockage. So why the symptoms. Anyone else get this. I'm going to see my GP next week.
