Very disappointed 😩
Just finished 2nd line Gem/Carbo and avastin. Consultant very pleased with my response to it but I'm very disappointed it's not all gone and now have to live with it knowing it's only a matter of time. Kids are 23 and 19 - I so want to see my youngest graduate but that's 2 years away. Have chosen not

CA 125 levels rising
Hello ladies, I had my Avastin infusion and scans last Thursday and was shocked to see my CA 125 levels had risen from 17 to 89. I met with the oncologist who said as the CT scan was clear, that he's not worried at the moment, as Avastin can cause CA to rise. IT hasn't stopped me worrying though -

introduction of avastin
hi everyone, I have not posted for a while . I am three weeks post op and doing fairly well considering the amount of surgery I had. I even had my appendix as well as a full hysterectomy. Although I am happy with my recovery so far, come the early evening I am so exhausted and struggle to keep awake

Worried... Sorry Kittie

Post op
Hi there, I'm just over 3 weeks post op and still feeling very sore. I have experienced a new pain under my right hand side rib when I move. I'm putting this down to using muscles again? Is this normal? I also saw my onc and he is starting me on avastin for 18 sessions. I know I should be pleased I

Hi! I was diagnosed in January 2016 with Stage 3c ovarian cancer. Following 6 sessions of Carboplatin and Taxol, my CA 125 dropped from 629.8 to 11.2. Debulking in 2 weeks and thereafter my oncologist says I will not need further chemo unless the cancer returns. So, I'd be grateful if one of the lovely

Treatment
I have been reading through all the posts and was wandering if any of you wonderful ladies can answer a question that has just popped into my head. I have noticed a lot of post saying their treatment is six chemo, surgery and then further treatment. I am stage 3c PPC and have been told 3 Taxol / Carbo

ct scan
Many are going through such a tough time at the moment, I am rather hesitant to post. I was in clinic today for the result of my ct scan. The team are pleased, I have remained stable so have an extended leave of absence from the Oncology Unit. This leaves me with queries as to why Avastin works better

Avastin and aching all over!
Hi all, Avastin was introduced into my last 3 carbo/taxol chemo session at the end of 2015 and since January I have just had infusions of avastin every three weeks. I am experiencing quite severe pain in my right arm if I move it a certain way, and pains in my back, legs and feet if I sit in the same
