A newbie just hoping for some pain relief advice.
I was in hospital last month for it as the pain is so severe and the only thing that stopped it is
oramorph
(something I really don’t want or like to take!).The past 2 days I have been in agony with 2 hours of solid crying out on the kitchen floor today.

Any ideas of changing patterns of RLS symptoms
A tiny bit of
oramorph
from previous surgery a few years ago for emergencies. Even considered cannabis to calm down my anxious overpowering mind concerned with whether sleep will happen tonight and I have work tomorrow. Any ideas x

Ive been on
Oramorph
for years but it doesn’t touch the pain and I no longer want to take it so looking for an alternative. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hurt leg, legs a bit calmer
Strangest thing is leg is not so jumpy & fidgety at night - could be because of pain or because am taking
Oramorph
( to relax muscles), or maybe it's auto suggestion & is all in my head!! 😂🤪

I saw a pain management doctor and on my discharge letter they have stated that I am now to take tramadol and

for pain relief (they gave me enough to last until friday).

Opinions on instant release tramadol compared to slow release tramadol
I was on 400mg a day instant tramadol along with
oramorph
plus a range of other meds but the doctor has given me only 200mg of slow release ? Are the slow release actually stronger than the usual ones and that’s why the dose is lowered ?

Went to see a chiropractor
Meds r great if they work but my concoction of zamadol ,
oramorph
, pregablin , methocarbonal , paracetamol , amytriptaline , venlaxafine and voltarol gel were hardly touching the sides. So I said enough is enough I want another opinion and paid to see a chiropractor.

Provera 30mg to treat endo
I started taking it on Friday on day 1 of my cycle and I think it’s causing a huge flare as the pain is unbearable and I can’t move- taking
oramorph
every 2-3 hours and it’s only just taking the edge off. Does anyone else have experience of this?

I just need to know I am not alone
I have
oramorph
(2.5 ml twice a day) and it's not even taking the edge off. There is nothing they can do. I just need to wait for my body to absorb it. I am just feeling really isolated, upset and in pain. I really cannot continue experiencing this all the time. Its lonely.

No relief after a laparoscopy?
I have been pain pretty much every day and was admitted to hospital for the last 3 days because codine and
oramorph
wasn't touching the pain. The doctors put the primary diagnosis down as an emdometriosis flare but they think its highly unlikely to be endometriosis as they removed it 3-4 moths ago.

Pain relief?
I still feel silly asking for something stronger, but then I remember the countless times I’ve admitted myself to A&E for the pain and ended up on
Oramorph
anyway! How did you approach asking for pain relief? What do you use? What has worked for you? Ps.

Pain in abdomen at 17 weeks
She suffers with chronic pain (nearly 4 years) and takes Tramadol, paracetamol and
Oramorph
for pain relief. She has tried to cut down but it's a fine balance. She also takes antidepressants mainly for anxiety but also depression.

Hospital Treatment
The ward consultant came in at 10 am pronounced that I was in a flare and that I should increase my regular
oramorph
medication with a view to increasing my regular zomorph dose. He told me he would only continue the steroids if my inflammation markers were up.
