Clearing a cyst - OK to take dhea?
Ladt cycle I disappointingly had a cyst in one ovary with high
oestrogen
, so my clinic chose to cancel the cycle. My following period
oestrogen
was even higher. They've advised me to wait it out, it should clear by itself in a month or so.

SST test for low cortisol whilst on TRANSDERMAL HRT/oestrogen gel (i.e. not oral hrt)
I believe that taking oral
oestrogen
interferes with serum cortisol levels (I think it increases it) due to increasing cortisol binding globulin.

New -- a little over a year after surgery, 6 mos after radiation
I had robotic prostate cancer surgery a little over a year ago, with Gleason 9, seminal vesicle involvement on one side, negative nodes, negative mets workup, positive margins on one side. I had radiation to the prostate bed last April (2018), and have about another 6-8 mos of Eligard injections and

Hot flashes with hormone treatment -- a humorous poem about this!
I am currently getting Eligard injections, which cause hot flashes. For those who are also getting hot flashes, you will relate to this poem I wrote about them! A little humor helps soften the severity of what we all face. Prostate Cancer Flash by Marshall Wareham (copyright 2018) When prostate

Hashimotos and HRT advice wanted.
The
oestrogen
will be through a patch but the progesterone will be by a capsule which I also need to take at night as it apparently might make me feel a bit dizzy.

UPDATE ON MY DAY 9 SCAN YESTERDAY
Which may have been caused by the big cyst releasing
oestrogen
hormone & caused these. Which weren’t there in my previous scan 4 weeks ago. Now can’t do fresh cycle but will probably be a FET instead as need to investigate cysts. X

Watery Discharge
Hi, Long story short (or shorter) I was getting heavy watery discharge and needed cryotherapy to cauterise my cervix due to ectropions, which worked (discharge returned to normal!). Unfortunately 5 months later, it returned.... I then got diathermy/LEEP to remove the ectropions, and my doctor said to

Hysterectomy - keep cervix?
I am currently already on zoladex (chemical menopause) and
oestrogen
hrt meds and this has been good so far. The surgeon has asked whether I wanted to keep my cervix. I have not had any worrying smear results or cancer history in the family.

Coming out of Denial!
I am pretty convinced its all hormone related, (dropping
oestrogen
in perimenapause) and am, when I have the energy! furious at the lack of research. 30 years after watching my mother go through years of hell, the treatments seem to have change little.

Tamoxifen & the Mirena coil
Hi everyone I wonder if any of you have or had
oestrogen
positive breast cancer and also have a coil fitted. My oncologist told me it was safe to leave the coil in place whilst taking tamoxifen as it may help with some of the side effects.

Good morning. I wanted to ask others here, who are or have been on Hrt, if they noticed it making there breathing worse? Or have you found being in more stressful situations makes your asthma and breathing shallower and worse? Yes i've been feeling this lately. I did read that taking Hrt, the Estrogen
