Pain management and blood thinners
I didn't take the blood thinner this morning but took a
Nurofen
instead and am now relatively painfree and will take Apixaban this evening. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Uncertainty over A&E advice
I was handed
nurofen
and solpadeine then discharged without follow up. I haven’t slept since, this can’t be right, can it,? I’m out of my mind with worry. Is it normal not to follow this up?

Anybody else using paracetamol and nurofen/ brufen in addition to prednison for the PMR symptoms??
I feel the paracetamol/
nurofen
added saves me taking a higher dose of prednisone.

I wonder what is going on
I was glugging straight from the Gaviscon bottle and wandering around the house looking for the Volatorol gel which I couldn't find and ended up taking 2
nurofen
instead which did the trick.

I have jaw pain eating, my right arm and both shoulders hurt badly, I can't sleep because of the pain and paracetamol and

I hate my GP - making me feel like a drug addict
I asked her to prescribe me either Tramadol or Codeine as the only thing helping me at the minute is taking shop bought Co-codamol and
Nurofen
Plus. I have tried Pramipexole and also now on Gabapentin 900mg.

Pelvic pain almost 2 months after lap?
I had to come lay in bed and take
nurofen
. I’m really concerned is this normal? I’m due on my period in a few days too and I’m so scared it’s going to be bad like it was last year! My pains got so much better 3 months before the laparoscopy, has the lap triggered it all off again?

How long does internal recovery take after laparoscopy?
Have to take
nurofen
some mornings. I used to experience this a while before my laproscopy too. Then it went away on it’s own for about a month or so and now it seems to have returned.

14 year old had migraine for 10 months with no relief
Nurofen
helps on occasions when she can't tolerate it any longer but we're aware of the risk of overuse headaches. She's had a physio assessment to rule out any physical cause and the pediatrician thought it was likely hormonal, this seems unlikely 10 months on.

Life on Pred is bearable
I’ve always been massively active (horses, farming etc) but RA flares and the overuse of
nurofen
/Voltarol kept me going with quite bad joint damage. When I could no longer manage (live alone) I was given Prednisolone. The joy! I can’t do it all but I’m much more alive, thank God.

Newbie saying hi!
I’m hoping that a rest day today and some
nurofen
will do the trick and I’ll be able to start week 4 properly tomorrow.

Bad back; advice needed.
Since my run on Tuesday morning, the dull ache has turned into a bit of a roar and although
Nurofen
does work, the ache comes back. I want to keep up my schedule of Friday, Sunday and Tuesday runs, but worry about the affect it will have on my back.

Not sure if it’s IBS?
I’ve taken buscopan and
nurofen
which eased it. Also took diarrhoea tabs which has stopped movement but still feel bit crampy/dull ache. I’m takin kalms tabs daily also as I feel anxious/down during this last few weeks which I’ve never felt before until now? Is this IBS?

A newbie just hoping for some pain relief advice.
I have tried ibuprofen, paracetamol,
nurofen
, codeine and buscopan. I was in hospital last month for it as the pain is so severe and the only thing that stopped it is oramorph (something I really don’t want or like to take!).
