My first run on Lupron a year ago had been debilitating making it very difficult for me to do my work as a software developer. I ended up going off Lupron following that first shot. In January of this year, I went back on Lupron but I found ways to fight the fatigue and brain fog with a combination

Under 50 - 3 Years out with M1b disease - an update!
It’s been a trip but I want to say thank you to all you guys out there for some really incredibly insightful and encouraging posts over the last 3 years I check in monthly and think this is a wonderful resource. My own story started with a relatively low PSA 3 years ago of bouncing around 3 with 3 bone

PCa and now bladder cancer and kidney problems.
I was diagnosed with PCa over two years ago and I remain hormone sensitive with Lupron shots, and Zytiga + p. But the last month has been terrible. Passing urine became so difficult that Mayo urologist put in a Foley catheter 30+ days ago. I don’t like it but hey, I’m not getting up to pee 4-5 x / night

Should I have my testosterone levels checked?
I have been doing very well since DX in November 2018, on Lupron, 750mg of arbiraterone, and prednisone. My PSA seems stabilized at 0.3 and my other blood readings are well within limits. I keep reading about T levels on this forum, but my MO does not seem to think I need to know my T unless something

Has anyone had success re-starting medicine after Chemo?
I was thinking unless I am mistaken, people have said after Chemo, certain medicines work much better since I mentioned in a previous post, Xtandi stopped working after probably two months and since it shot up so high (about 1.9 points a day after doing the math) Doc wants me to start Chemo. He just

Thank you!
I want to thank the members of this group, especially Tall_Allen, for the advice and support I've received the last couple of years. After a failed trial of HIFU, with a resultant steady increase in my PSA, I had another biopsy done June of last year. The report was 8x 3+4, 1x 4+3, and 1x 4+4 out of

DEXA Scan - how often?
I'm looking for some research regarding how often DEXA scans should be scheduled to track bone health. My husband is 61, and 4.5 years from diagnosis. His treatments: Lupron, Taxotere (6 rounds when first diagnosed), Zytiga and prednisone, Provenge. PSA has remained at <.1. No pain, he's still working

I found out it is not sciatica that's bothering me... take a guess what it is...
No, I haven't turned black. Yes, that is a joke about the picture. Yup. PSA shot up again. It lowered down to 60 but shot up to 221. Fuck. I have been taking Xtandi. Since December. Doc wants to take an obvious biopsy of the hip. I'm also joining the Chemo club which is good because from what

Which is more effective -- Lupron or Diphereline? or which is better?
I used to have Lupron (a monthly shot), but the urologist at Taiwan National University said there are now limited supplies left for children use only. So, I am currently having the 3-month Diphereline shot. Which is better when it comes to efficacy?

Diagnosis
After 3 years of trying (naturally, IVF, FET) with no luck. We finally figured out a probable cause for me not getting pregnant. It is that I have adenomyosis. I will have to go be on lupron for 3 months. For anyone else that has been diagnosed with this, what was your experience?

Continue Lupron after continuing PSA rise?
We meet with my spouses oncologist on Tuesday. Bill has been on lupron solid for 6 years now. He has had Provenge, Xtandi, Dosetaxel, Cabazitaxel and all worked for a good time, but his PSA has been steadily and firmly rising and new bone Mets for the past few months. My question is that since the cancer

Has anyone done Radio Frequency Thermal Ablation of the nostril?
My nostrils started blocking and congested at nights for the past two months. The side I will be sleeping on, will be the nostril that will be blocked and congested. Then when I turn to sleep on the other side of my body, then that nostril will be blocked and congested. The nostril that was blocked
