BC Update with GP.
First I rang Macmillan and they thought it very odd my cancer had gone from high to low. So rang my consultants secretary and she was not there, the people in charge said they were not qualified to help. I saw my GP today and like myself had a letter with no details at the top, this matters because

Severe cramps and ADT
I have led a very active life running long distance races and long bike rides. So I’m used to getting some moderate leg cramps after a long workout. I’ve been able to minimize them by taking electrolyte drinks. Once I started ADT (Lupron, abiraterone, prednisone), I started getting severe leg cramps

Trouble swallowing
I am having problems swallowing - not that I can't - but the food does not go down as it used to. I get hiccups, have to drink water, etc. I am trying to chew longer and that helps. I am on Lupron and Zytiga. Anyone else have the same issue? No radiation yet.

BAT in Daytona
Anyone know of an MO in the Daytona Beach area who is doing BAT? I'm not there just yet, but have been on Lupron for 4.5 years.

Blood work on radiation and Lupron
I am sure this has probably been discussed before but I could not find an answer. How long after initial radiation should you wait to get a valid PSA test? Background Started Lupron 6 weeks prior to radiation and Casodex one week before that to reduce the spike of testosterone. Next week will be my

Advice for next steps for 82 year old dad
Good morning, I'm needing advice for my 82 year old dad. Dad has been fighting prostate for eight years. Upon diagnosis his PSA was 257 and he had a single lymph node found to be involved. He had chemo and started on lupron + bicalumatide. In 2020 the medicine began to fail and he had provenge and started

Anyone have experience with Provenge? Especially on PSA tests?
For my history, I was diagnosted with Prostrate cancer in 2018. Now 70 years old. I had Surgery in late 2018 where they removed my prostrate and found cancer in 2 lymph nodes. I have had 2 salvage radiation sessions, which appeared to be successful. I have been on Lupron, essentially since surgery

Prednisone side effects
On Lupron, Abi, Prednisone for 7 months. After month 2, I started getting getting jowls, puffy cheeks & biting the inside of my cheeks on occasion while eating normally. Read that prednisone can cause “moon face” as a SE. A real swelling of the face in extreme cases. The only thing one can do is reduce
