I am unable to tolerate
NSAIDs
and take tramadol with minimal affect. I am seeing my gp in a couple of days and was going to ask him about bupronorphine patches. Does anyone have any experience with these for joint pain also do they make u feel drowsy?

Not diagnosed yet, but got severe issues, something needs to be done
My second question is, how to treat my severe period pain with anything else apart from
NSAIDS
? I think you really shouldnt take
NSAIDS
if your bowel is severely upset. Ah and third question: where do I go from here? Should my GP refer me to a gynecologyst? I hope they will, eventually.

NHS NHS England had no legal basis to delay PrEP: Court of Appeal upholds judgement
Simon Collins, HIV i-Base On 10th November 2016, a decision in the UK Court of Appeal showed that earlier attempts by NHS England to avoid the process of evaluating PrEP had no legal basis. [1] The legal challenge had been brought by the National AIDS Trust (NAT) after NHS England attempted

Psoriatic Arthritis Pain Relief
Hello - I'm a newbie to this forum and wondering if anyone out there suffers from Psoriatic Arthritis? I have had this condition for 10 years, but never yet found anything that helps the pain, having tried NSAID's and co-codamol/solpadol without success. Have agreed with Rheumatologist not to go down

Are doctors "accidentally" making arthritis worse?
It's said that
NSAIDs
can make arthritis worse. My own experience is the medicine messed with my stomach bad only in a weeks time of taking it and now i completely refuse to take anything relating to "temporarily pain relief" i just dont understand how things like this exist.

Scunnered with others lack of understanding?
Have cocodamol and
NSAIDs
for pain, but the later make my hypertension worse. My problem is my other half thinks its 'stress related' and i shouldnt be taking pills at all. He makes me feel like im faking and others in family are demanding and do not give me any help.

The Whole30 works - a food plan is helping my pain!
I haven't taken any
nsaids
for 30 days as advised by the plan. I am down to about half the amount of tramadol per day that I was taking. I have been able to socialise, go out, get dressed up, have friends over more than I was able to before I started the Whole30.

Is my Enbrel failing? or is this normal?
Is there anyone on here who is just on Enbrel, and no other medications except occasional
nsaids
? Is it normal when you are Enbrel to have occasional breakthrough disease activity or are you supposed to be completely symptom free, all the time?

Possible Psa diagnosis now
If so can I keep taking the
NSAIDs
indefinitely. I think not! It's so good not having awful back and hip pain all the time.

GP only ever offers
NSAIDs
. I have never been one for tablets as I fear they will cause digestive problems taken on a regular basis. Also I now experience pain in thighs and lower legs. At 70 I still teach part time and do my own gardening but I am miserable with the constant pain.

NSAIDs
) and the risk of prostate cancer.

Indomethacin / Xtandi
My guess is that some out there are up to speed on indomethacin, but I don't recall reading about it before this morning. [1] Wikipedia. "indomethacin ... is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used as a prescription medication to reduce fever, pain, stiffness, and swelling from inflammation
