My GP has recommended taking progestogen-only pills to stop constant bleeding caused by progestogen-only implant - how will this help?
Back in September, I got a
Nexplanon
implant, a form of contraception which exclusively releases progestogen. For the last two months I've experienced constant menstrual bleeding (every single day) as a side-effect.

what do you guys personally take for RLS?
about trying yoga to help. i’m honestly starting to lose a bit of hope. i thought my RLS was actually just restlessness from anxiety or muscle pain because of my vitamin D deficiency, but tonight i’m dealing with shooting and aching pains in my muscles. it might also be worth mentioning i have the

How long does it take for the Nexplanon Implant to leave your system after removal?
I’ve recently (2 and a half weeks ago) had the
Nexplanon
implant removed due to some nasty side effects. I was getting horrible pelvic cramps all throughout my cycle and had had enough and me and my doctor decided it was best to get it removed.

Periods after the implant?
I had my implant (
nexplanon
) removed last month, I am now on my second period since it’s removal but it’s been a lot shorter. I had two days of proper bleeding and then one day of spotting and it’s stopped. Just for context mine usually last for around 5/6 days. Is this normal?

Hair loss
Its been on and off for 2 years or so but has been quite dramatic lately. i am naturally an anxious person so idk if its stress related or if its anything hormonal- I do have the
nexplanon
implant but I experienced hair loss before I had this put in last November, Since my town is in local lockdown

Can the nexplanon contraceptive implant be causing my pelvic Pain?
I’ve been having on and off pelvic pain for around 2.5 years, I’ve been to multiple doctors (including some gynae’s) and everything comes back normal. The pain itself can be a dull ache to a cramping sensation. It has no correlation to my period cycle and the pain comes in random waves. I don’t ever

Coil Query
I currently have the
Nexplanon
implant and I’ve had it in for about a year now and it isn’t really working for me. I’m looking into getting either one of the coils I just want to get some advice and see if it’s worked well for some other people.

Hi, my first post...I'm new here...Hashimotos has just been properly diagnosed after years of struggling - looking for advice please
Less concerned about the mood swings, (at the time I put this down to a new birth control,
nexplanon
) I finally went to see my GP to discuss the weight gain as I had just got engaged and wanted to feel the best version of myself on the big day.

IBS or bowel Endo?
This might be a silly question, but I’ve been on contraception since I was 15 (I’m now 22) due to bad period pain which would stop me from doing my normal daily activities and I’m currently on an IUD (
Nexplanon
) so I haven’t had a period in around 2 years and have been free from period pain.

Mini Pill Advice re. Side effects
I have recently been put on the progestogen-only mini pill after 12 years of cycling the contraceptive implant (
Nexplanon
). I needed a contraceptive for a shorter period of time than the 3 years these last.

New & Seeking Support
It all happened before getting off
Nexplanon
and got worse afterwards. I obsess over things and have false memory OCD badly. I look things up for reassurance and also search my own memories for reassurance but the memories change.
