Dr Jekill & Mr Hyde strikes again!
Soooooo frustrated i could scream, cry & generally need a straight jacket i'm so cross with my consultant! After 3 months of my work chasing my cons for a medical report he has sent one to them and its complete rubbish (not just my opinion, my HR officer said 'its useless to us and utter rubbish').

E Flow nebuliser?
Just wondering if there are any E flow neb users out there. My lovely Pari mobile is not well and looking to replace it. May go for straight replacement as its been absolutely great. I also have a little omron micro air that present is going strong despite its age. However this is really just not powerfull

Feeling very blue.
Not a full time carer yet for hubby as he works from home, but he had a bad bout of pneumonia and with COPD that is not good (last February). I posted earlier this week, when I was at a loss about what is "normal" in COPD. thank you guys for all the responses, it was helpful. Went to see his COPD

Am Carer For My Husband
I have been on here for a few months but just reading till a couple of days ago, so thought I'd better introduce myself. My husband has Asthma/Emphysema, he spent Christmas 2008 in hospital with a collapsed lung first in Salford Royal and then transferred to Wythenshawe because he looked like the Michelin

This question has come up a couple of times during the past 24 hours so thought I would write a general post about it. In an ideal world those of us who need to use these machines should get them supplied by our doctors or respiratory teams. There is no such thing as an ideal world unfortunately

When do you use home nebuliser ?
I have a nebuliser and meds for it. Am not sure whether I should use occasionally, or regularly - so I haven't used it yet, keeping it for use in case of emergency.

Rubbish day again!
Anyone got a decent spare set of lungs for hire or sale? Mine are just rubbish at the moment, had a really bad night last, back to back nebs and no sleep. Saw my doctor earlier, and surprise surprise she wants to admit me again. Big problem with that is I've no one to look after my children till Sunday

Confused and tired of no help from doctors
I have been on Intal previously and that worked but i am trying to get another method of taking it such as spin inhaler or
nebulizer
as the inhaler always cloggs up and i have had 2 fail on me preiously. I have mentioned this to my gp and said no others are available - i don't believe him.

Nebuliser Masks
This may seem I bit of a silly question. Does anyone know of a good way to get rid of the very plastic chemimical new equipment smell you get with nebuliser masks. I keep washing the masks as directed but the new equipment smell does not want to go away and it is beginning to get on my nerves...

stroppy lungs...again
Went to work today and was only managing half an hour between inhalers, really wish my cons would sort himself out and give me a
nebulizer
. I'm soooo fed up of all this roller coaster ride. Attack, time off work, recover, go back to work, get worn out, get ill, attack.
