Triple Therapy
I started with Lupron+Abiraterone + Docetaxel. As I mentioned before elevated liver enzymes caused MO to place me on an Abiraterone vacation after cycle 1 of Docetaxel. Docetaxel was reduced to 3/4 dosage. Yesterday, I received my 3rd cycle of 3/4 dosage of Docetaxel, my 3 month injection of Lupron

Almost forgot I have PC
I have been off the grid for a while. Back in late November, I started having bladder problems including bleeding, urgency, frequency and incontinence. In December I was diagnosed with stage 3/b bladder cancer. In late January I had open Cystectomy and was in the hospital for 10 days. My MO put my PC

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
Enzalutamide monotherapy can improve the quality of live for advanced prostate cancer patients. Thank you, Prof. Tombal, for promoting this arm in the Embark trial! Enzalutamide does not lower testosterone and estrogen, it even increases the level of these. This avoids the following side effects of

Avioding Coming a cropper when we are trying to regain a level of fitness
I wondered if anyone else has experience of getting back to some degree of fitness once the dose of thyroid hormones was adequate - whatever the form that took (T4 only, T3 only, Combo T4/T3 or
NDT
). thought it might be good to share this, in the hope of others avoiding the mistakes I made.

Xtandi (enzalutamide) alone is superior to ADT alone at preventing metastases in "high-risk" recurrent men
"High-Risk"recurrence was defined as men who have had primary therapy (prostatectomy or radiation) but have had rising PSA but no detectable (on bone scan/CT) metastases yet and T≥150 ng/dl, and: • PSA doubling time ≤ 9 months, or • PSA≥ 1 ng/ml post-prostatectomy, or • PSA≥ nadir+2 ng/ml post-primary

Low T
My husband has been on "vacation" from ADT, zytiga and prednisone for a year. His PSA is tested every 3 months. Today's number is still <0.1 ng/ml. However, his T was slowly building...17, 24, 42 and now dropping to 34. Should I be worried?

Rethinking Radiation to spine
Has anybody here had radiation to spine mets as treatment only? Not for pain relief necessarily. I am waiting for approval from insurance to radiate 4 smalls spots only seen on Pylarify PET. I had the risks explained to me and my concern is that maybe I should let the ADT and 2nd gen do its work and

NDT suppliers
I would be grateful for information re
NDT
suppliers. I understand that the cheapest supplier is in Thailand but not sure if this is still available. Would appreciate feedback on suppliers, reliability, necessity of prescription etc. Many thanks

Additional Drug Choice
I started my ADT treatment with Eligard and Xtandi but had to change due to the cardiovascular side effects. I have been on Orgovyx alone for 10 months. My PSA is undetectable and my testosterone is 13. The drug is doing what it should. Side effects are hot flashes, fatigue, weight gain, and muscle loss

Why I can't increase the dose?
I have noticed over time that my values are below half the range, whether I take,
ndt
or synthetic. My endo thinks I could increase the dose but I don't feel well if I push the dose over the 125mcg levo(and some T3) or 3grains

Testosterone return?
I had my last Lupron injection 6/14/22 after 18 months of ADT and Radiation. PSA at the end of December was <.03 and testosterone was<3. My question is can I expect to return any time soon? My age is 75 and I am physically fit I am doing 5 or 6 miles walking everyday. Do they ever boost ones testosterone

Who got their T level done before ADT?
I was a month into ADT before I realized that I had no baseline Testosterone number!I know the treatment is all about reducing T, but now that I'm considering vacation possibilities I think it would be helpful to know what my unadjusted level was. I think it would be helpful, but honestly I'm not sure

Time for a vacation, but worried about IADT
Decision time is approaching but should I take an ADT vacation? Any new data or articles to support decisions on intermittent ADT? I'm looking forward to an improved QoL but just worried about giving the beast room to come back. I've been undetectable (<0.01) since treatment started 11 months

Questions about hormone therapy...
Greetings, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Gleason 8, no indication of metastasis in January. I just had a radical prostatectomy, including the removal of nerves. Post surgery pathology downgraded the two legions to a Gleason 5 and a Gleason 7, with no indication of any cancer touching the anterior
