31 days today on my NTD👍
Hi everyone ❤️ I feel I need to just pop on today to ask how long will it be until I start to notice a difference in my body on ndt? 31 days today and I'm pleased to report no gastric issues 👏 this is the longest I've ever been on thyroid medication without suffering horrendous side effects, my instructions

QQ Asking for a friend - TSH/FreeTs target on NDT the same as Levo or Levo/T3?
Hi a quick question from me today. I have a friend with hashis on NDT. I’ve stepped lightly as I observe her symptoms just aren’t getting any better, but she puts a lot of faith in her doctors… who say her thyroid panel is “normal.” Hasn’t wanted my opinion and experience, until today. Since I’m on

Does anyone know why, in people using NDT, the TSH readings tend to be very low, even when the T4 and T3 are within normal ranges? My GP is concerned that my low TSH readings mean I am at risk of osteoporosis, but since I am not hyperthyroid I don't understand why. My T4 and T3 are within reference

A little advice on latest test results
Hello all, you have all been incredibly kind and helpful in the past.. and I wondered if I could pick your brains again about my latest test results.. I have been following Ray Peat’s ‘non diet’ diet, and I’m wondering if actually it’s not working for me. To me I can see that my estrogen is at the lower

Update on visit to gp🙈
Hi everyone ❤️ Update on visit to gp yesterday, firstly I will say she was one of the most down to earth gps I've ever seen👍 she had all my information to hand, she'd obviously done her homework which is rare with some , if not all gps today. I took my roseway information and tablets [ NDT] with me

Gp just rang...🤔
Hi everyone ❤️ A gp as just rang asking me to see her today at 4.45, I have no doubt this is in relation to the letter I wrote to the practice manager in the awful treatment I have received by the surgery concerning synthetic thyroid medication they have been pushing on me the last 5 years. I think

Advice T3 vs TSH levels
Hi All - I've been following advice on supplements and timing of tests but NHS has problems with results and need advice as what to do - I take Armour NDT with Levo. Haven't had a conversation with them about it, changing practices and moving back to the states for a period of time but will be back

Recent iron results - not sure what to do now
Hi everyone, I've recently had an iron panel (NHS) after 10 weeks of supplementing with 1 then 2 x Three arrows per day, as well as taking cacao liquid (as recommended here) in the hope of increasing my stubbornly low ferritin. However I'm not sure how to read the results so any advice very welcome

Blood test with GP want to be armed with information
Hi I am due to have a blood test with my GP surgery for my thyroid. This is the annual one. I use a combination of levo and also use NDT which I source myself. My GP isn’t aware of my NDT nor do I have any intention of telling them. Every year since my old GP retired it is a constant battle to

Gp just called about NDT at Newcastle 🤦
Hi everyone ❤️ Firstly feeling good stomach wise on the rosway labs NDT 👍 as I said I don't expect to be doing cartwheels down the road just yet😂 because I still fell tired and fatigued, obviously my TSH was 45.66 on May 31st so I reckon it's going to take some time for me to start to get some energy

It is a similar question to many. where to buy? with lab results
I wont but vitamins Bit D antibodies here (as apart from folate) cannot produce methyl folate, B12, Vit D all midrange big (ferritin is always high so might get tested for iron overload), never ever any thyroid antibodies. I will just post the thyroid today, before covid on 3 grains NDT and 2 Grains

Tried Bovine Thyroid Supplement - feel very ill!
I was really hoping this beef thyroid would help me since I couldn't tolerate the porcine
thyroid
supplements. I have never tried the synthetic hormones, only the
natural
dessicated
thyroid
hormones, and I don't seem to be able to tolerate the NDTs.

Hypo symptoms but doctors unsympathetic
Hi, I am post menopausal, 58 yrs old. For the last 18 months I have been struggling with pain in my neck/throat, left hand side, centred on thyroid area but radiates up into throat even ears and down into chest, so it has been hard to locate. Have been checked over by ENT and also had an endoscopy which

NDT dosing where insomnia is an issue
Interested to hear how others do their NDT dosing where insomnia is a big issue. I’m about to have a NDT increase (currently 4 months into treatment, at 3/4 grain) Insomnia is chronic. Horrible. Even on 20mg amitripyline, it’s still an issue. I recently tried one dose NDT at 6am because I thought

Can anyone please PM me with details of where they get their ndt please? I have previously been using Thyroid-S but I see there have been some problems with some of the batches lately, so open to suggestions of other ndt brands as well. Thankyou

Thyroid Madness continued
Well, I won't be multi-dosing again unless it synthetic T3 and T4. I'm at the YMCA and I'm very unhappy with the shape of my body. I gained weight around my middle. I don't think my legs look this bad. Maybe I'm in denial. However,, I would like to add T3 to my NDT if I could. I don't believe I'm going

Suppressed TSH and getting optimum on NDT
I'm being treated by a private thyroid Dr for hypothyroid, I'm on NDT Armour and I've been slowly titrating for 12 months from zero treatment. I couldn't get treatment on the NHS. My latest results show TSH at 0.01. My T4 and T3 are the highest they've ever been and I feel much better than I did last
