Does Multiple Positive ANA Tests Usually Mean Autoimmune Disease?
I have been on
Naltrexone
now for over a year I believe. Symptoms have a habit of coming and going, being mild at times, more severe at others. Flare-ups can last anywhere from hours to weeks.

LDN for RLS??
LDN, in case you’re unfamiliar, is “Low Dose
Naltrexone
”. It’s an older medication that has to be compounded into a tiny therapeutic dose for use “off label”.

Food and Flare-Ups, Clinical Significance of ANA
I am currently on low dose
naltrexone
and am newly started on hydroxychloroquine. No other blood tests have come back abnormal except an antibody for Sjogren’s barley positive once and I believe protein has shown in urine before.

Naltrexone LDN and Tramadol
I have been prescribed .5 mg
naltrexone
twice daily. Any advice when to take the pills? The pharmacist suggested 6 pm and 6 am. However, I have read it should be taken at night after 10p, 2 hours after food.

Anyone with Hashimoto taking Naltrexone (LDN)?
Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto about 6 years ago and left to deal with it by myself. Saw an endocrinologist (who told me what I have) and a letter a few years latter from another consultant that recommend iron supplement (it did help a bit). Apart from that I have received 0 help, instructions

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Has anyone tried LDN? I have Hypothyroidism (Hashimotos), Fibromyalgia, Brain Fog, occasional insomnia. I take Levothyroxine (100mg) for Thyroid but don't take any medication for Fibromyalgia. I don't intend to substitute Levothyroxine but would like to know if LDN has helped anyone? Thank you

Wait a couple of days
Eventually I was able to taper to zero Pred. with the help of Low Dose
Naltrexone
(LDN), which must come from a compounding pharmacy. Not many doctors are familiar with this treatment--yet. All I can say is that it worked for me and there are no side-effects. You can quit at any time.

naltrexone hcl
I noticed one of the ingredients was
naltrexone
hcl. This has been mentioned on here before for PD. Interesting. Supposed to stop cravings. “
Naltrexone
, which blocks opioid receptors, is FDA-approved for the treatment of alcohol dependence and has shown benefit for pathological gambling.

Glutathione Therapy and LDN
Low dose
naltrexone
and glutathione therapy. Anyone have any experience with these? I've found several functional medicine places in the San Diego area and plan to call on Monday. We are not happy with the treatment my husband has been getting from his neurologist.

LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) for PMR?
Has anyone had experience using LDN for their PMR? Following my initial PMR diagnosis fall of 2021 I was put on 15mg of prednisone. I couldn't tolerate it, had serious 'rhoid rage' and quickly tapered off. My rheumatologist put me on monthly Actemra infusions. After five infusions it became evident

My psychiatrist put me on a med called
Naltrexone
which helps with cravings for alcohol and food and the like. As soon as I started on it my mind started thinking strangely and bit by bit I started getting depressed.

Low Dose Naltrexone?
My legs are quite painful these days and Dr prescribed low dose
Naltrexone
. Does anyone have experience with it? Presumably it helps with pain, inflammation and helps reduce need for pred. The med was originally used for blocking opioid use but at this very low dose it addresses different issues.

LDN for Lupus
I read about a new medication, it is called LDN (low doses of
Naltrexone
) I have been reading about it but even though someone with Lupus has recommended me and has told me that she got an amazing improvement in every way, I still would like to ask you if there’s anyone here using it as a treatment.
