Don’t know if this is the new drug
Mycophenolate
( which I am still struggling to get to the full dose) or the air purifiers. However the filters do appear to be catching dust n stuff. Carpets come out in a couple of weeks and hard flooring goes down.

New medication
I have just been prescribed
Mycophenolate
by my rheumatologist as I have had an adverse reaction to the increase in hydroxychloroquine. I would appreciate any guidance on the impact anyone has had positive or negative. Many thanks

sore facial rash
It started when I first started on
mycophenolate
about a year ago and my rheumatologist felt certain it was a reaction to the drug and took me off it. Although it did improve it still flares up from time to time especially if I am under the weather. Does anyone else suffer with this?

Low wcc
Methotrexate made my hair fall out so I was put on
mycophenolate
about 18mths ago. Since then I have had to stop it numerous times because my wcc (in particular, neutrophils) keep dropping.

covid ~ anti virals
On Abatacept and
Mycophenolate
. Can I ask what you have all been doing? Know we are all different but may have to make a judgement call myself. There’s no drug interaction between the meds and anti viral..Thank you x

There is hope
Still on water tablets and
mycophenolate
. Giving up the drink was the biggest factor in his improvement. Never thought I'd be able to say that.

Leflunomide, Mycophenolate, Azathioprine instead of TCZ, that was the question
Thanks for your help in answering this question. It seems Leflunomide is the only real contender. So much so that my cynical self wonders if the other two are only there to give the illusion of choice! Any more info about your experience of Leflunomide is very welcome. Not rushing into anything, and

choosing an alternative to Actemra
She is now offering me three choices of alternative drugs -
Mycophenolate
, Azathioprine and Leflunomide. Reading the leaflets, they look very similar. How to decide and how to uncover the lesser known/advertised side effects?

Itching due to medication??
Hello, I had a liver transplant 3 years ago and take tacrolimus,
mycophenolate
and prednisone for anti rejection. I have recently had a very itchy localised rash on my neck which I have been treating with hydrocortisone cream. This is having no effect.

Figuring things out - first year since diagnosis
Since then I have been on hydroxychloroquine and prednisolone, did about 6 months of
mycophenolate
and then switched to methotrexate for better effect. I am still on prednisolone and when I try to reduce the dose the symptoms come back.

Dont panic. All I could think of was Corporal Jones.
She absolutely insists that the
Mycophenolate
will help a lot with the inflammation but I need to be patient. That mirrors the feedback I have had from some very helpful users on this excellent platform.

GI issues post transplant
The transplant doctor has changed the
mycophenolate
and reduced the tacrilimus doses. I really haven’t noticed much of a change. Has anyone experienced this? If you have, what have you done and what would you recommend. Thanks - Happy Thanksgiving to all.
