Not easy to keep well.
Hello to all. Had been feeling good until about 6 weeks ago and ended up with a migraine that was not responding to sumatriptan. After conversation with my sister -very longstanding, I decided to go gluten free. Joint pain went and felt even better. Then hit with migraine 2 weeks ago that lasted 36

Need some help...
I'm so impatient! My 12 year old had labwork done after his well check up because he's not growing. We had been telling the dr something was wrong for the last two years and finally she saw enough of a decline to order labs and an xray. She called with the results but simply said she was referring us

hypo; stopped levo, kept T3; advice?
Dear Wise Community, First, thanks for all your good posts and help here. I'm new here but have been lurking a bit. Long story first, then the question: I was Dx hyper in 2002; methimazole for 6 months solved it. No problems til 2012 (or, no diagnosed problems), when I went badly hypo and was put on

Dizziness
I'm trying not to worry here and not let my anxiety attack start so just wanting some answers to why I suddenly felt dizzy. I'm worried it's my heart because of course health anxiety is telling me it is that. Even tho I checked my heart rate and it's perfectly normak, But I'm trying to find a logical

A Bit of a Setback With B12 Def Blood Tests
I have been waiting for test results, now into week three. These were Private ones, owing to obstructive attitude by GPs in local surgery. The surgery ( person on desk, maybe the cleaner?) didn`t know anything about any results, but might have had difficulty typing my name into the system. My Christian

Hi all, Can anyone recommend a multivitamin for respiratory/ fatigue/ over all health. I'm clueless and just wondered what others might take and weather they can make a difference. 😊

Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. (Revisited)
Back in November 2012, I wrote an article "Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences as a patient." The content of that post is still relevant, and may help some of the new members. So I decided to re-post it; Here it is:- Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences

Why can no doctor give me a straight answer and it seems like I am slowly feeling less physical. Depression?
I am currently a 22 year old white male turning 23 this upcoming Tuesday which I am excited for. My height is 70 inches and my weight is 164lbs currently. I am originally born on Long Island New York and lived there for 20 years of my life and just recently moved to Georgia 2 years ago. I landed a job

TSH Rising with increased dose of Levothyroxine?!
I was diagnosed in Jan 2015 with an underactive thyroid. My antibodies were checked at the time and nothing was of note. My TSH at the time was 25. The range is 0.2-5. Since Feb this year, my dose has changed and with each increase, my TSH has also increased! Feb 16 - TSH 1.9 (levo 50mg daily) July 16

Trying to lose weight but am very fussy eater...
At the moment I'm taking
multivitamins
, but I know they won't give you absolutely everything you need and I'd love to be able to go out to eat without scrutinising the menu for something I know I can eat. Advice?

Too many supplements and vitamins ?
Along with the many supplements I take, I'm also taking regular
multivitamins
even though some of the ingredients are also in my supplements. Do you also take multis with your supplements?

Vitamins
Having D and possibly being diagnosed as microscopic colitis , I am concerned about lack of nutrients as I have had the condition for nearly a year. I eat well but I know the condition has taken its toll! My question is whether or not to take a multivitamin and if so how do I choose a good one -there
