Colonoscopy and moviprep
Thoughts are post infectious ibs currently I see the recommendations to chill
moviprep
but cannot make it with cold water. How soon before taking it are you allowed to make up the solution?

New to this forum
I have atrial fibrillation (have had two ablations for this over the last twelve months), and a bit worried about the possible effects that the bowel prep
Moviprep
could have on my heart arrhythmia. My gastroenterologist doesn’t seem at all concerned.

Prep for Colonoscopy
Here in the UK the prep I have been given is
Moviprep
, containing lots of ingredients including sodium and potassium, both of which I know we are advised not to have too much if any. My CKD is stage 4 and I spoke to my nethrologist secretary and he seemed to think it would by okay to take.

Help please.
The nurse told me to stop eating at around 3 on Monday (tomorrow) and have the first litre of
moviprep
at around 6/7 and the second on Tuesday morning. 2. The leaflet says to have the first litre at around 6/7 tuesday morning and then the 2nd around 11.

Bowel prep for colonoscopy - long post. Sorry.
This time it was "
MoviPrep
" and it appeared to be working well, but perhaps less than I expected. Went to hospital and in procedure room they were able to do Upper GI endoscopy. However, the prep had still not worked. Roll on to next appt .... 18th May.
Moviprep
again. Seemed to work OK.

Fecal impaction after hysterectomy?
Had
moviprep
and no benefit seen. Waiting for mri scan results. Not sure if nerves have been impacted by the surgery. It’s been six weeks now and quite exhausted.

Picolax before bowel resection
I've previously had
Moviprep
for a flexi sigmoidoscopy and I had to have a low fibre diet the day before, but wasn't sure if it was the same or more strict for surgery.

Consolidation Run 3
I had to have a a colonoscopy so that meant days when i could not run as I was starving and then having to stay next to toilet due to teh
moviprep
clearing my bowel - then although it went Ok afterwards I was just wiped out. And work has also afforded me very little time to run it.

W9 R2 - Only went and ran 5K!
Well who'd have believed when a couple of months ago when I was wondering how I'd manage those 60 second runs that I'd now run 5K non stop I'm so glad cos I've got a colonoscopy soon and what with having to have a swab test and and the starvation day - and the "
moviprep
" experience before that

Delicate??????
If they require me to drink two litres of ‘
Moviprep
’ in preparation for this, it is doomed to failure. I simply cannot swallow so much liquid. So, watch this space!

Unfinished bowl prep
I am having a flexible sigmoidoscopy today and have been given
moviprep
. I finish the 1st litre last night but I just can’t finish this last litre, I’ve had about half of it. I am running clear though so should I be okay?

I'm new/Colonoscopy, bowel prep failed twice!! now constipated
The first bowel prep of
moviprep
did not work. I retained the fluid and was quite ill and therefore the procedure was canceled. 2. They then prescribed picolax, which I took at1 pm then 5 pm, nothing major happened at all until 2 am when I actually collapsed.

Moviprep
This time I’ve been given
moviprep
for the so called preparation. On reading the side effects it mentions arrhythmias can occur. Does anyone have experience of this stuff please as I’ve totally changed my diet, stopped alcohol etc to try and prevent afib and reduce arrhythmias. Thanks in advance

Moviprep... Rectal Bleeding?
Yesterday I started drinking
Moviprep
at 6PM and it took me over 5 hours to finish 1 litre (absolutely revolting, gagged the entire time). I had a LOT of bowel movements (more than 20) after the first litre Anyway fast forwarding to now. Woke up 4.30AM and began drinking second litre at 5AM.

First Time With Moviprep
I had
Moviprep
for the first time prior to a colonoscopy earlier this month as my local hospital refused my plea for Picolax. I managed the amount of liquid with some difficulty and I ended up trapped in the loo for many hours. However, the procedure itself was fine.
