Thick sticky phlegm
Asthma wise I’m on Relvar the highest dose and I have been given carbocysteine, omeprazole and
mometasone
nasal spray to combat this and helped somewhat but still a quite a problem. Has anyone else had this problem/used other meds or/and can it be anything else underlying? Thank you!

Help with assessing the relevance of my blood test results please
I did not realise but I use a
mometasone
furoate nasal spray from GP for sinus problems and I did not know it was a steroid so I assume that is why my cortisol level is high. I am going to stop taking it now I am aware it is a steroid.

Lip & mouth issues
I have been prescribed
Mometasone
Furoate 1mg cream that has finally helped, after trying numerous alternatives. My main ongoing problem.,, when not having a flare up is my lips and just around my mouth, peeling, dry, cracked almost permanently. The cream stings on applying to my lips too.

Inhaled steroids may not work for half of asthma patients.
Treatment with the inhaled glucocorticoid
mometasone
or the long-acting muscarinic antagonist tiotropium resulted in similar outcomes among the majority of patients with mild asthma who had low (less than 2%) sputum eosinophil levels.

What to do?
I believe that I’m on a lot of treatment which normally controls moderate asthma (Seretide 500 1 puff twice a day, montelukast, azithromycin three times a week and
mometasone
nasal spray).

10 months on - Redness caused by irritant (not allergen) very slowly going away
Initially prescribed was 50/50 paraffin and later
mometasone
furoate (steroid cream), and tablets which didn't help speed up the process - the colour was getting very slowly less but still red.

Asthma or Bronchiectatis?
I have postnatal drip and use
mometasone
furoate for this and take omezoprozle for reflux. So I have virtually all bases covered. Although I get some wheeze my symptoms are predominately that of a productive cough and breathlessness.

Starting mometasone
I've been given a
mometasone
nasal spray to try and help with congestion, just wondered how soon I would notice it working, and does it start by making you more snotty? I had been congested but this was dry, and had post nasal drip.

Nasal Spray
Now they say they cannot dispense 'Nasonex' and have given me '
Mometasone
Furoate', which they say is the same. I have had this type of nasal spray before and do not think it gives the same results. I am told 'Nasonex' is too expensive, it costs £7.00+, were as '
Mometasone
