Gynaecologist appointment and feeling discouraged
I finally saw a gynaecologist after a long waiting.I felt rushed and not being taken serious. lt was strongly suggested that I should start on Zoladex and HRT's asap to help with pain ,
Mirena
coil has not improved the pain.Laparoscopy booked for 27th May .he could not answer most of the questions

Newly diagnosed with endo
I have had the
mirena
coil fitted during my procedure, and although my 2"periods since then have been dramatically better, I really suffer from tiredness more so now and struggle with excerise more then ever.

Not getting anywhere fast with diagnosis
ladies, I've had symptoms for the past 10 years and decided I couldn't wait any longer for a referral and I paid to go private gynaecologist and she wasn't very thorough in her questions to me and came out with after examining me internally that she doesn't think it's endo and my choices are a to try

Pain after mirena
I had the
mirena
fitted after a laparoscopy for the removal of endo at the end of January. I've had cramps every day since it was put in but they are becoming more painful now and also have hip pain?! Feel like an old lady :(!! Has anyone experienced this?

To Mirena coil or not to Mirena coil?
Obviously I was willing to try the
Mirena
coil but now I'm so unsure whether or not to have it fitted and try again... if anyone has had similar experiences or tried the
Mirena
coil, please let me know what you think of the
Mirena
coil and it's effectiveness in stopping periods/helping endo.

Fobbed off by specialist despite confirmed endo
All she has suggested is adding a pill (cerazette) on top of the
mirena
to at least try to stop my cycle (although I last year I was on the implanon implant AND Yasmin run together and still bled throughout).

Still back pain - endo or mirena?
I had the
mirena
coil fitted at same time. Yesterday and today I've had low back ache. Is this a symptom of coil settling or the endo? I had no idea I had endo and this pain has been here due to cyst before. Any suggestions for relief?

Lonely
My gp simply told me that cramping was to be expected after having the
Mirena
coil put in. Had the coil put in during my laparoscopy as an added precaution- I'm due to start an expensive 3 month course shortly and was terrified of pains returning and having to take time off.

Coil removal - sedation/general
Morning everyone I went to the GP yesterday to have my
Mirena
removed as I've had constant bleeding for the 7 months I've had it. Unfortunately due to my womb being retroverted and struggling with the pain of the speculum my GP wasn't able to remove it.

Endometriosis pain a year after laparoscopy with mirena coil
I was wondering if anyone else has had experience of their endo growing back so soon with a
mirena
fitted? I'm hoping that this pain may have been brought on through stress at work and that it is not the return of endo. Thank you :)

Mirena
They inserted a
mirena
coil while I was in theatre. Since then my symptoms have been much improved so much so that I was discharged from Gynae follow up on Monday. Today I am in agony and bleeding really heavily for the first time since my op.

2nd lap - advice needed
On my first lap, I was advised to try the
Mirena
coil, which I did and it unfortunately didn't agree with me at all and I had to have it removed.

Just had laparoscopy and in so much pain...help!
He also removed a cyst from my left ovary and inserted a
mirena
coil. He said that he did a lot of work so it's not surprising that I'm in a lot of pain - but I never expected to feel this bad! I'm at home in absolute agony and I just don't know what to do with myself.

Appointment
In the end he is sending me for a laparoscopy and fitting a
mirena
coil. I'm so relieved that something is being done now. He said that the waiting list is 2-3 months, so hopefully won't have to wait too long.

Endometriosis & the marina coil
Hi 👋 I'm forever reading posts but never posted myself. I was diagnosed with endometriosis around 4 months ago, having suffering with it for years. I was advised that the best form of "treatment" was to have the marina coil fitted, as this was the best thing for it. I already had the copper coil

Mirena removal experience
I'm due to have my
Mirena
removed next Friday, it was inserted during a lap so I knew nothing of the insertion :) I've heard that removal isn't too bad but wondered about other ladies' experience of the removal. Is it painful? Any tips?

What is wrong with me?
It seems like I've been checked for everything and using
Mirena
to try and cover up a problem doesn't sit well with me. Any ideas or advice greatly appreciated :)
