Endo of the appendix?
He also mentioned getting my
Mirena
coil removed as it might not agree with me and cause me even more pain which I will probably do after my follow-up.

5 days post lap...lots of questions! (bleeding, pain and incision!)
Anyway I have a few questions for anyone who has had a lap before :) First of all, I've been bleeding for the first 3 days after my lap but now I seem to only spot old blood (I am on the
Mirena
coil)...is it normal at all?

Mirena Coil- Advice please
Hi I have had the coil fitted and it’s been in just over a month- in this month I have been in the worst pain to the point where I’ve had to leave work and I am bleeding every other day. I know it takes time to settle in and I was prepared for the bleeding and everything else, but I was told to have

Tried the
mirena
IUD and was in such excruciating pain I had it removed after 6 weeks. I have tried a myriad of hormonal contraceptives to try and control it as well as every painkiller under the sun, currently have codeine and tramadol which don’t seem to work at all and make me feel ill.

Utovlan (noresthisterone) & mirena for endometriosis?
My GP has prescribed me Utovlan (noresthisterone) to take daily on top of my
mirena
coil. I have had the
mirena
in for nearly a year, my GP wants to eliminate me bleeding entirely which is why she has prescribed me the noresthisterone on top. In hopes that it will reduce my pain and fatigue.

Tales of a stage 4+ endo warrior
My first
Mirena
was fitted in 2013 which was great, no periods, less pain but I'm now on my third and it's not helping, I'm having regular bleeds/brown discharge and periods.

Gynae appt next week
Because this was such a shock I paid privately to see a Gynae consultant 2 days later, she said it does sound like Endo but firstly I should try getting the
Mirena
coil fitted whilst I wait to see her on an NHS ref. I went to get the
mirena
coil fitted and in short, it did not suit me.

"Don't be silly, it can't be that bad"
During surgery I had the
mirena
coil fitted and I feel it has made me much worse. I am in pain every single day - some days it feels as bad as labour cramps - I feel sick every day, my boobs hurt terribly most days and my mood has been horrendous!

Endo again after Mirena
Is this to be expected and it should settle down in a few more weeks or is this a sign the
Mirena
isn't for me and it needs to come out? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks x

Endo affecting immunity
I have the
mirena
coil and until recently hadn't had a period. I'm constantly getting flu, colds and viruses. I'm known as the 'sicky person' amongst friends and colleagues. I'm wondering if their is any connection between my Endo and my inability to fight off germs and bugs!! xx

When will this get easier???
I also had a
Mirena
coil put in during my surgery ( nearly 4 weeks ago) and yet I am still in so much pain. Was told it would take some time to settle down but realistically how long should I expect this level of discomfort before I see any improvement?

Complex hyperplasia, what’s next?
I have endometriosis, 8 months ago I was heavily bleeding and was referred to a gynaecologist. They did a hysteroscopy and diagnosed me with complex hyperplasia without atypia. They said the best treatment for this would be the marina coil, so they put it in. They said I had a lot of scarring and my

Diagnosed with Stage 4 next step Synarel
When I had my surgery the put in the

but my pain is so severe he has now prescribed Synarel for 6 weeks to support me whilst the
Mirena
gets to work and also a try before you buy to see how my body reacts to having my ovaries shut down and whether this impacts my symptoms positively before I contemplate

Can I still have my excision surgery if I don’t consent to having the
Mirena
inserted at the same time?

Being referred
Yesterday was my 3rd appointment to try to fit the
mirena
coil, hoping it would be 3rd time lucky, but no. My cervix is too scarred and at an awkward angle to get through. So being referred for a uteruscopy (?) and hoping the camera will find a way in to fit the coil.
