Scared that another hold up is on the horizon.

Then my biopsy revealed abnormal cells and the need for treatment: 6 months mirena coil, biopsy, 6 months without coil, biopsy- before I could start DE treatment. Age almost 43. I was devastated.

Issues after having mirena coil removed

I had the mirena coil in for nearly 2 years when it started to become uncomfortable. I had it removed last summer, nearly a year ago now. Firstly, having it removed was horrendous. It got stuck and the nurse just yanked. I felt like my innards were coming out she said that was normal.

Started my first period in years after Endo surgery?

I’ve been on the mirena coil for a year now and was on the depo injection for years before that. I haven’t had a natural period for years and in fact not bled at all since getting the coil up until the month after my recent surgery.

Fed up

20 years of pain, 3 laparoscopic surgeries, 10 years on & off of zoladex, numerous Mirena coils. This is what failed endometriosis treatment looks like.

Lost threads with Mirena Coil

I had a Mirena Coil fitted 3rd Jan 2020 and a few days after having it put it I checked for the threads but couldn’t feel them, I was advised to to just be patient with it as things were still settling down. Anyway, almost 4 months later and I still can’t find my threads! Is this normal?

30+ years of worsening dysmenorrhea

I have dealt with this by being on various forms of the pill on and off over the years but stopped taking it about 5 or 6 years because of various side effects from them; I tried the Mirena coil after this but suffered severe rash and itching so had it removed.

Mirena coil and morning sickness feeling

I know there are mixed reactions to everything as we are all different but hoping for some feedback from other ladies on the Mirena coil. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis - had surgery last year where I had it excised.

Hiya I wondered if anyone could help me I had my marina coil removed 20th April was bleeding from 17th April for a few days the. Started bleeding again 21st April until the 25th. I assumed this wasn’t a period as I then came on on the 7th may until the 12th. I should’ve been due on the 4th June but

Mirena moved?

Does anyone have experience of their Mirena coil shifting into an odd position and causing constant cramps? Looking for reassurance and/or advice. I had a Mirena coil inserted on the 24th Feb and have been in near constant agony ever since, with cramps as bad as my worst period.

The anti hormone/chemical menopause injection

I was given the mirena but my body would NOT tolerate it and I had it removed after just over a month and things were a bit better. But since then my symptoms have slowly worsened and completely ruined my life.
