Mirapex
finally kicks in around 9:30pm but RLS will rise it's ugly head in the morning again, Usually it it has only occurred on one side of my body's arm and/or leg per day and by using a hand held massager, I have been able to calm it.

Spacing out Mirapex/pramipexole or Lyrica/pregabalin throughout the day
She mentioned that
mirapex
was not working for her until she started taking it throughout the day. One with breakfast, one with lunch, one with dinner and one at night. Within a couple of days her RLS was gone. Wondering if this has worked for others.

Sigh... 😔🥱😒 Hallucinations side effects from meds on top of neck & back pain affecting sleep schedule
Now that we're a couple days into
Mirapex
alone, he seems to do better, with a little help of daily exercises, but hallucinations are still around. How long does it take for these stupid Hallucinations side effects to go away???

Just looking for help like most of you.
My PCP has offered to start me on a low dose of
Mirapex
, but I declined due to the augmentation risk I learned about here and on other sites. I'm seeing him again today, armed with the Mayo Clinic Algorithm hoping he will agree to testing my iron levels.

Iron levels -- borderline -- IV indicated?
I am quite miserable. my Bipolar 2 Depression gets worse when
mirapex
below 1.0 and yet, RLS augmentation has been terrible. Gabapentin worthless for me.

looking for tips
I’ve done calcium/magnesium, iron supplements taken with orange juice, stretching, hot baths before bed,
mirapex
and lyrica. It’s daily and nothing helps. Looking for avenues that I’ve never tried. And yes, light exercise in the evening.

Glutamine and RLS Does anyone have any info please?
Still taking. .25
Mirapex
and Lunesta. Now they said to take Glutamine for the neuropathy and it did help but low and behold the RLS came back. I read a little bit that it might be from the Glutamine? And possibly NAC - N acetyl cysteine might help?

Ok I'm taking 0.09mg
mirapex
every evening. Nothing else works except tramadol which I alternate with every so often. Is there anything else that works. I've tried pregabalin and the others but nothing. I would like to stop mirapexin completely but too scared.

I am now taking oxycodone and
mirapex
. sometimes it helps, sometimes not. The oxycodone does not help me with other types of pain. So I am hoping the orthopedic dr. will give me a different stronger pain med and i will not take the oxycodone.

Scared and Frustrated
The beginning of February i thought i had the beginnings of maybe a stomach bug. Bloating, gas, sudden urge and need to use the bathroom.... only nothing would come, just mucus and very very small amounts if unformed fluff. This continued till I noticed i hadn't had a real movement for nearly two weeks

My doctors disagree with one another - one says take Miralax every day. That was my gastroenterologist. Colo-rectal surgeon says - stop that right away, it's not meant for long term - take Metamucil. Years ago I took Metamucil and ended up almost with a blockage. My problem is motility. Nothing

Phosphorous questions
I have been on home hemo now for almost four months. My phosphorous has steadily increased. I never had issues with Phos until dialysis. They have put me on Sevelamer binder, which totally cemented me up, when I took two a day. I mean in pain constipation. I backed off to one a day, when they wanted

Gabapentin success
I've had RLS for over 35 years getting worse as I get older. I'm now 74. I did well on mirapexin 0.09mgs for years. Then it made my RLS worse and it moved to my arms . I came off it with the help of tramadol 50mgs. I started alternating mirapexin and tram ,it wasn't perfect but better than nothing, Then

Success (I hope) with Gabapentin
I have had RLS for more years than I can remember. For years I took mirapexin till I augmented. I tried Pregabalin but I felt dizzy all the time and I put on a lot of weight quickly. I started tramadol and then alternated between that and mirapexin ( yes I went back on it). I coped like this for a long

Low dose Naltrexone or Suboxone. I'm seeing my doctor this week. Which one is best
After many years of RLS and coping quite well. First the dreaded mirapexin and then tramadol nothing is working at the moment. I was on 0.09 mg mirapexin. Now I'm on 50mg tram. Even if I take 100mgs it's not working so I'm obviously augmenting. Even Kratom isn't helping. I made an appointment with my

IBD symptoms with no diagnosis
I was just diagnosed with IBS 6 months ago, before my 40th birthday. It started with persistent constipation, bloating and cramping that led to a colonoscopy. Since my mother has Crohn's, I expected the same diagnoses, but instead I got an all clear from the GI doctors. The months that followed put my

Morphine constipation help
Only taking 7mg of morphine. In my third month. It is helping my PLMD but the constipation is horrible, and also sedation/fatigue has set in, and while I can drink caffeine it doesn't seem to have any effect. (I wish I had stayed at 4mg--it was helping less but I had more energy and controllable constipation
