Can PD get better?
A DAT scan shows I have PD. I take Rytary but Dr Google suggests other meds might help. So I also take cinnamon, phosphatidyl serine, Super B-complex, Vitamin D, Green tea capsules, fish oil, a statin, CoQ10, baby aspirin, miralax, dulcolax, tylenol and melatonin. Some of these are for PD

How does everyone differentiate between RLS symptoms, vs. augmentation from one of your meds vs. withdrawal symptoms
I have experienced augmentation from
Mirapex
and then severe withdrawal due to very bad advice from my neurologist.

3 year old chronic constipation
My child goes 7-8 days before going. She was taking 15 ml of lactulose 2 times a day. We also tried miralax for a long time before that. sShe also takes exlax of varying amounts and done clear liquid only with high doses of miralax clean outs once a month for 3 days. Nothing seems to give any real results

Amantadine sulphate
Amantadine sulphate - I was diagnosed with PD a few months ago (45 yo) and have been on Sifrol, (
Mirapex
), Azilect and Dekinet (Biperiden)Due to cognitive memory issues my doctor reduced the level of dekinet and it helped. It also slowly led to a regression of tremors and right hand weakness.

Substantial Effects from Mannitol
My husband started Mannitol about five months ago. He has had PD since 2006, and the past 2 years has suspected dementia. He has stiffness, postural instability, gait issues, but no tremor. As a result of Mannitol, he no longer needs his Dopamine meds. Here is his current daily regime: 20mg numenda

First colonoscopy prep
Hi, I have my first colonoscopy Tuesday to check out what I’m hoping are just hemorrhoids. For prep I have to take 4 Dulcolax or Senna tablets in addition to 17 capfuls of Miralax. I’ve read horrible reviews about severe pain, nausea and shaking on Dulcolax. Senna sounds painful too but not as bad.

Does anyone else have severe leg spasms with their RLS?
Mirapex
was a miracle drug or so I thought. However It has caused me Alzheimers symptoms and terrible eating addictions among other problems.

I need some guidance on DAWS.
I went off
Mirapex
for RLS about two weeks ago. I was on one mg. I should have tapered (I realize that now). The depression is overwhelming, and I’m afraid it’s never going to end.

Help Staying Asleep!!
Mirapex
. Atarax. But, I always wake up. CBN helps a lot, but I have to 3x or 4x the dose. It has no side effects because it’s hemp. Any suggestions? I’m not yet on treatment.

Child Constipation - How long does it take to get back to normal?
I'm looking for encouragement or advice from other parents whose children had constipation. My 5-year-old son was just treated for constipation. He used to poop every day. Like clockwork. Then last week he went 4 days without pooping, and starting complaining that his stomach hurt really badly. We started

Kratom
I have had great relief using kratom. As soon as I feel my leg or legs starting their awful feelings I take a teaspoonful in juice. It's not as vile as I had thought and anyway whatever it tastes like I don't care, it does the trick. Within about 5 Min the feeling goes away. Heaven. I can actually go

Is it possible to be increasing the length of time between dosages of Carb/Levo 25/100mg and still have same effect?
I went from taking it every 3 hrs to 4 hrs and stopped taking
Mirapex
at night and feel better. I am presently taking carb/Levo 1 and 1/2 tablet 4 times a day and Azilect 1mg once a day.

A question for my most knowledgeable friends around the world.
Recently, three years after my diagnosis, after I stopped mirapexin, I switched to an effervescent formulation of levodopa called Sirio 25/100. I take half a tablet in the morning and a half after lunch (plus 1 mg of rasagiline in the evening). Why is the best time of the day in the evening from 5pm

Urinary tract infections?
Is anyone else having lots of urinary tract infections? I have to control constipation or I get severe bladder infection that cause septic cells in the urethra. Taking miralax helps, but I still have frequent urinary infections. Any ideas?
