Update from yesterday's ablation.
Unsure if that feeling woozy was just the protamine or a combination of the diamorphine and
midazolam
as well. I was given a bag of fluid when back on ward which helped. My face looks and feels much better at present.

Update :Liver Biopsies
Midazolam
being the culprit the good news is that he will get better it's just going to take time. We are unsure if this will cause lasting long term damage and if so what that might be .

My ablation was done yesterday .....as promised, here’s my experience 😊
The procedure took 2 hours......I had local anaesthetic for the groin, and the 2 sedatives,
Midazolam
and Fentanyl in the cannula, which were supposed to make me a bit woozy but relaxed, so I didn’t fidget !

Darolutamide & Rosuvastatin
Two further phase I studies assessed the impact of co-administering oral darolutamide on the pharmacokinetics of
midazolam
(sensitive CYP3A4 substrate) and dabigatran etexilate (P-gp substrate) and the impact on the pharmacokinetics of co-administered rosuvastatin [a substrate for BCRP, organic anion-transporting

3 weeks ago I was given 4mg of midazolam and 50mg of pethidine. I still keep having weird ‘i’m gonna faint’ feelings. Is this normal?
I went for an upper gastroscopy on the 13th May. For the rest of the week I felt awful and REALLY faint/not with it. I am of a very small frame and that was a lot to give me..... he said this was normal. But now 3 weeks later, the feelings have definitely improved but i’m STILL getting episodes of ‘

Valentines Day and more seizures
She was given
midazolam
a benzodiazepine for this sort of thing (no one is sure what these seizures are). When I got there she was relaxed and comfortable - very sedated. She managed a couple of smiles.

My experience with gastroscopy and anxiety
I sat on the bed they knew I was nervous I opted for sedation and was given 2mg
midazolam
and 2 squirts of throat spray. The procedure was fine I did gag a lot but was fine, I had biopsies taken which I did feel but again that was fine too. I remember it all, but was very relaxed.

Partner in ICU for 20 days after severe burns, septic shock, SIRS and ARDS
I find Haldol and
Midazolam
administration very odd in this situation, they compromise the immune sYstem but they say he hyperventilates (probably due too shock). If anyone had a similar situation pls help me i am MAD WORRIED. Its been 3 weeks already

Circumcision -My Experience
So I got to the hospital this morning and took sedative called Dormicum/
Midazolam
. I was very happy about this as I'd heard this will put you to sleep. However, I was laying on the hospital bed 30 minutes after taking the tablet, still feeling wide awake and very worried.

Stricture/dilatation
Is it possible that the sedation used for the procedure (I assume it was
Midazolam
) could actually relax the muscle causing the narrowing to temporarily disappear? Can such a stricture suddenly disappear overnight?

Help with Gastroscopy
On the Doctors Gastroscopy report it showed I had been sedated with 3mg of
Midazolam
and his comments described my procedure tolerance as “very poor, with constant retching”.

TOE not as bad as expected
I was wired up for monitoring, the sedative (
Midazolam
) connected and the 'banana' flavoured anesthetic sprayed into the back of my throat. It also goes on your tongue, making that numb too! ...but you can still swallow.
